Steady progress isn't always a straight line, but the trend speaks for itself. 📈

Over the past 5 years, we’ve been tracking the Countermovement Jump (CMJ) to monitor explosive power and neuromuscular fatigue. Looking at the data from May '21 to May '26:

Trend: A consistent upward trajectory in force production and consistency.

It’s not just about the high days; it’s about raising the floor. The "session averages" (yellow dots) show the grind—the fluctuations are real, but the long-term gains are undeniable.

Consistency over intensity. Every rep counts. 🚀💪

The Future of Coaching: Human Intuition or Machine Learning? 🤖🧠

The tools we use to measure human output are getting smarter exponentially fast. But are they making us better practitioners?
We are launching a critical investigation into the convergence of three massive trends in sports science:

1️⃣ The maturation of Force Plate usage in daily training.
2️⃣ The necessary rise of Gender-Specific testing protocols.
3️⃣ The disruptive arrival of AI and Predictive Modeling.

Artificial Intelligence is already creeping into our software platforms. It's offering automated reporting and injury risk flags.

Where do you sit on the adoption curve? Are you an early adopter embracing the efficiency, or a skeptic who believes the "art of coaching" can't be coded?

We need the skepticism AND the enthusiasm. Your perspective is vital to shaping how these tools evolve.

Calling all sport science practitioners / S&C coaches, I need your help!
If you are currently using force plates/have used force plates/thinking of using force plates in your work, I want your input. I am currently conducting a survey on "Portable Force Plates in Practice: Practitioner Applications, Barriers, and AI Perceptions".

The primary objective of this survey is to examine the current use, perceived values, and practical challenges of portable force plates technology among applied practitioners.

This survey will attempt to address the following critical areas:
1. Establish a Baseline of Current Practice.
2. Identify and Quantify Key Barriers and Facilitators.
3. Gauge practitioner opinions on Artificial Intelligence (AI)
4. Inform Evidence-Based Recommendations for the Future.

Please take a moment to complete the survey by clicking the link below:
