Nauvoo part 2:
Thanks to my brother for capturing and editing some of these amazing memories on camera! Time at the river skipping rocks, and Carthage.

The second to last photo was taken a couple days before we got married, so naturally we had to recreate it now!

The trip to Nauvoo was so sacred and special to me for many reasons. I’m so grateful we were able to take our kids back to experience it for themselves. by @eringarner87

Nauvoo part 1:
We got to stay the night at a bed and breakfast that we were at when we got married!
Sunset on the Mississippi, tours at the blacksmith, scovill bakery, family center, pastime kids games, baptisms at the nauvoo temple, catch up time with my longest childhood friend and her kids, wagon ride, parade and great memories made. It was such an amazing time!! We were able to go to the Joseph smith homestead and a few other tours around historic downtown. by @eringarner87

Back in May we got to travel to Kansas City to see my parents and my brother and his family! We had such a fun time. We went to the splash pad, went to a Royals vs. Yankees game, went to the temple, spent time at the temple, shopping, Andy’s custard, walk and playtime at the creek, and lots of time with cousins catching fireflies and playing spies. We spent time at the negro league museum, scheels (for the older cousins), and celebrating Finn’s birthday! It was a trip never to be forgotten.

I wish that I had had time to visit with more friends and family while I was there, but hopefully the next time! I feel so blessed to have grown up out in Kansas City and I miss it terribly when I’m gone. So grateful for home and the memories. 💛 by @eringarner87

A couple of months ago I took a beginners quilting class! I learned how to create 8 different quilt blocks and for 8 weeks I worked on getting them all cut, sewn and pieced together. Once I finished the quilt top I decided to take it to get it professionally quilted and then bound. I love the quilting pattern I chose and I am so happy to have it back and finished!! by @eringarner87

I feel so grateful that my family got to visit the Lindon, Utah temple open house yesterday! It was so beautiful and peaceful. I look forward to going there regularly to learn and feel peace from heaven! by @eringarner87

Some sewing projects in January! I made my first quilt from start to finish on my own machine. It wasn’t without error, blood or tears, but I’m very proud of it. I am also taking a quilting class and these are the first two blocks I’ve learned how to sew! I never knew I would have SO MUCH fun doing this!! by @eringarner87

Maggie made the decision to get baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Saturday, November 29th. It was a beautiful evening and such a happy and joyful moment for her and the rest of our family! by @eringarner87

This little chick had a birthday on Thanksgiving this year. She is one of the most joyful little girls I’ve ever known. She loves all animals, loves to look at books, sing and dance. She loves others deeply. Happy 2nd birthday Jules! by @eringarner87
