Happy 24th birthday to my Ellie. 🤍
There are some people who talk about Jesus, and then there are people whose lives quietly reflect Him. Ellie, you do that better than almost anyone I know.
You have never needed to be the loudest in the room or draw attention to yourself. You are simply, genuinely you, and it’s beautiful.
You are easy to love. Quiet and deeply caring. You love people so well, and I honestly can’t remember hearing you speak poorly about anyone. You notice people. You make people feel seen and loved.
And then there’s your humor. 😂 Your ability to work a perfectly timed Friends, Office, or random movie quote into almost any conversation is truly unmatched.
You are set apart. Not because you try to be different. You just are.
There is a purity, kindness, and authenticity about you that is rare. People can simply see Jesus in the way you live and how you love.

Happy 26th Birthday Molly Dolly! Our family spent the weekend celebrating her with a spa day, dinner, bowling and ice cream. We laughed really hard, the sarcasm was thick, and the joy was abundant. When everyone shows up my heart is overflowing. Molly girl, you are an original. You are bold, beautiful and faithful. When you get knocked down the Lord has been faithful to pick you back up every time and remind you of who you are and whose you are. Such a good night at Project CORE. 🤍

Pastors Caleb & Chrissy Cole joined us for an honest conversation about all things relationships: dating, commitment, attachment, growing up and putting away childish ways, and above all, staying connected to Jesus through every season.

They closed the night with a Q&A, and our young adults brought some thoughtful, real, and important questions.

So thankful for pastors who are willing to invest, speak truth, share wisdom, and help guide the next generation. by @erinharrison

We said goodbye to our Bentley girl today.
11.5 years of love, loyalty, memories, and the kind of comfort only a dog can give.
Our home feels quieter tonight, and our hearts are so heavy.

The last few days have been so bittersweet.
Drake is the last one getting ready to start college, and I don’t think I was prepared for how much this one would hit me.
Nine years ago, a nine-year-old boy came into our lives. At the time, I never imagined the day would come when I’d be watching him pack up his room and head off to college.
Last night I found myself scrolling through years of photos and videos, Drake learning to ride a bike, growing up right before our eyes, and eventually becoming the charming young man who would sit around the fire in our backyard and serenade us with his guitar.
And now bins and boxes full. Guitar cases packed. A room emptied.
This morning, looking around at it all, I felt that little pierce in my heart.
I’m so proud of the independent young man he has become and so excited for everything ahead of him. But I also know I’m going to deeply miss this season.
I’m going to miss having him under our roof…and I’m really going to miss the sound of his guitar playing in the background of my life every single day.
What a privilege it has been to watch that nine-year-old grow into this young man.

There’s something powerful about young adults gathering together with purpose.
Sharing meals. Building authentic community. Lifting one another up in prayer. Worshiping wholeheartedly. Receiving the Word of God. And diving deeper in small groups.
This is more than a weekly gathering. They are growing in faith, encouraging one another, and pursuing Jesus together. by @erinharrison

These hands are showing their age, but the names on that ring are where my heart is. I praise God daily for the gift and honor of these blessings in my life. They are each wonderful and brilliant and so very special to me. I have the privilege of loving them, and watching them navigate life as God continues to grow and strengthen each one of them in their character daily. Proud doesn’t adequately capture how I feel when I look at them. I am brought to tears every time I pray for them because the gratitude I feel is immeasurable. Who would have thought that when you came into my life you would turn out to be one of my all time favorite humans? What a gift you have been to our family. Watching you grow into the young man you are today has been a joy. Your heart for others, your deep thoughtfulness, and the way you carry yourself with such respect make you truly special. Your love for Jesus, your appreciation for music, and your incredible talent are powerful parts of who you are. You bring life, depth, and goodness to the people around you. We are so proud of the wonderful young man you have become, and as we celebrate this milestone of adulthood, we also celebrate you, your character, your heart, and the impact you make on others. 🤍
