What an honor. What a privilege. And what a reminder that anything God calls us to do requires His grace. 🤍

This weekend, over 100 women gathered at beautiful Leoni Meadows for The Belonging—a weekend set apart to draw near to Jesus and be reminded of who we are and Whose we are. To know the truth, we all have a seat at the table!

We laughed. We danced. We rode go-karts and trains. We hiked. Some brave women even conquered the Goliath Swing! We dressed up for a Pretty in Pink dance party and made memories I know we’ll talk about for years.

But the most beautiful moments weren’t necessarily the loud ones.

They were the moments women sat before the Lord.

When hands were lifted in worship.
When tears fell.
When truth replaced lies.
When healing began.
When new friendships were formed.
When women got quiet enough to hear from God.

I had the incredible privilege of closing our weekend by encouraging these women, and I do not take moments like this lightly.

The message God placed on my heart was simple:

You don’t just have a seat at the table. You have an assignment.

Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19.

That assignment will look different for every one of us. It may happen in your home, your workplace, your church, your neighborhood, across the world, or in a season where very few people see what God is doing.

And sometimes, before the assignment comes the waiting.

But the waiting is not wasted.

God uses waiting seasons to prepare us, strengthen us, refine us and develop what we will need for where He is taking us. Just because you cannot see the purpose yet does not mean He isn’t preparing you for it.

So when the time comes, don’t let fear keep you sitting in the chair God called you to rise from.

You belong.
You have a seat.
And you have an assignment.

May we be women willing to say, “Here I am, Lord. Send me.” — Isaiah 6:8

What a weekend. What a sisterhood. What a faithful God. 💗

We have 24 kids between the 4 of us. We also have daughter-in-laws, son-in-laws, foster kids, grandkids and spiritual kids. We have a few things in common that have knit us together through the highs and lows of life. We love Jesus and our husbands. And, our highest calling in life is to raise up our kids to know and love Jesus. Doing life and family together has been such a gift. Over the years we have learned to work hard, play hard, and rest hard. At the beginning of the month we went away to Hawaii, guilt free. We took a sabbath from work and social media. We spent our time in the moment. We rested in Christ and invested in friendship. We experienced peace and joy. We prayed, we worshipped, we hiked, we slept, we swam, we tanned, we ate, we drank, we read, we played and we shared our dreams and goals. We cheered one another on and we left Hawaii ready for the 2nd half of 2025.

Pastor Dennis once said, “friends are like elevators; they are either taking you up or down.”

Thankful for these girls who continue to “go up” in life and love!

The Call Church Women’s Retreat 2024.

It’s true, we had so much FUN! But behind the smiles, the laughter, the dancing, playing, and all the joy you see…we did some hard work breaking down walls and getting unstuck. We asked the Holy Spirit to move and break us free!

We studied the word, we prayed, worshipped, shared our hearts, were vulnerable, real and raw. We learned what it truly means to Abide in Christ. We saw God meet us each right where we are at. All different places, for all different reasons, and yet we are desperate for Jesus.

We listened and loved sisters who are experiencing grief in the most unimaginable ways. We cried with them, held them, prayed with them and loved them. We also watched these same sisters reach for the hem of the robe of Jesus for healing and hope. We watched them boldly stand for prayer, #speak truth, raise their hands to worship, and share how in the most difficult loss, they still trust God.

Thank you @thecallchurch for making it possible for us ladies to gather for fellowship, fun and freedom!

My xHope Hype Girls know how to LOVE BIG and CELEBRATE. The birth of a book gives all the same feels as the birth of a baby with surprises around every corner. The amount of joy and excitement I feel cannot be contained. I’m beyond grateful. I will never forget this day.

Yes, of course I’d love to spend time rubbing shoulders and learning from @daveramsey! Ya’ll can too…in fact, you should! We just finished day 1 of Entreleadership Summit 2024.

We heard from some of the top leaders today and the impact is priceless. A few of my favorite quotes:

“It’s an act of courage to go for the hard things, to dream bigger, and to think further out.” -Dave Ramsey

“God don’t intend for you to fit in. He intended for you to STAND OUT.” -Dave Ramsey

When in Texas visit @tvcfm It was a special morning of worship, communion and the word. We learned from Pastor @jtenglish about friendship in marriage, friendship with Jesus and friendship with our another. Agape love friendship.

My favorite moment was giving a high five to one of the pastors who has led me from afar for many years. @mattchandler74 your leadership, your life and your agape love for the family of God has impacted our church and family. Keep running the race!

26+ years of friendship and traditions. Find your people and STICK WITH THEM through the trials and the triumph’s, the valleys and the mountaintop’s, the joys and the tears. Then watch your kids build the same healthy relationships. #unconditionallove
