Oh hey, Coach Erin here!!👋 😊 It’s not official until it’s instagram official….right??! Since November 2023, I’ve been laying the foundation for Manhattan Track Club—a welcoming, supportive community where runners can train and connect in a fun and safe environment . 🌆 👟 Little Erin (chilling on Balto and a Central Park bench) had no idea that one day, this very park would become the soul of something so special. It’s now the home base for this incredible group of people chasing their goals together! What makes this group so great? 📚 💫 Storybook ending… ________________________ Concluding my four years with this Team on the biggest stage… a place where many dream of going, but only a fraction will ever make. Nike Cross Nationals. Ninth in the entire Nation. \T/ To Carlita, Katrina, and Katie for being bold enough to say it out loud….This dream for Tatnall to make it back to NXN. You never stopped believing this was possible, even when the team wasn’t big enough to score just a year ago. You stayed committed to this goal and to one another through each of your individual tribulations and triumphs. To Ruby, Abby, Addison, and Krissa for recognizing the culture those three were building, and taking a chance to join them. You bought in, and joined the pursuit for greatness. You were brave enough to dream with them. To Valencia, Emily, Karen, Mina, Ella, and Brook for continuing to show up and support the team after your seasons concluded. For pushing the 7 in front of you by pouring your heart into every practice and race all season long. To the entire boys team for working alongside them while pursuing your own dreams. For keeping them honest by never neglecting the little things. All of the frigid ice baths were worth it: D2 State Champions and Open Invitational Regional Champions. To the team’s desire for this dream and backing it up with hard and honest work. For gritting your way through this season with happiness, hunger, and humility at your core. To the coaching staff that showed them what it means to dream. For being a guiding light for this group of young women on their collective journey toward a goal. For keeping me laughing in every moment we spent together. THANK YOU…. for making this the perfect way to end my four years with Tatnall. How lucky am I?!?! 😌 To not only have a job doing what I love, but to work alongside and learn from some of the very best to ever do it. Josh Rowe. Jim Spier. Paul Limmer. Tim Fulton... just to name a few. These are people whose vision, passion, and dedication have created opportunities for generations of young athletes, including me. I still have plenty of pinch-me moments realizing I get to learn from them and be part of this incredible team. Nike Outdoor Nationals and the U20 Champkonships were nothing short of spectacular. ❇️Nearly 7,000 athletes competed across Nike Outdoor Nationals and the USATF U20 Championships—a new all-time NSAF record ❇️1 National Record ❇️2 National Class Records ❇️33 Meet Records ❇️8 Hayward Field Records ❇️42% of the USATF U20 team heading to the World Athletics U20 Championships are current or former athletes from NSAF development programs. (Take a bow, @mechellelewisfreeman 🙇‍♀️) Watching thousands of athletes, coaches, and families experience Hayward Field while chasing their dreams made every long day worth it. 2026 NYRR Team Champs: Class B Champions 👑 👑 In Manhattan Track Club’s third appearance at Team Champs, we brought home both the women’s and men’s Class B titles, finishing 5th and 8th overall teams, respectively. More than a race, the Blue Jeans Mile is an opportunity to start the conversation, check in on the people around you, and let others know they matter. At Manhattan Track Club, we strive to be an inclusive community where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and supported. Whether you’re celebrating a victory or navigating a difficult season, we hope this community reminds you of one simple truth: you are enough, and you are not alone.
