A long overdue update for this post from the first share when it went live ( which you can still find from August in my feed), and yet i’m still at a loss for many words months later. 🌹

Thank you for this beautiful write-up of two incredible people, their love & the honor of getting to document & share these memories with the world 💫 Reliving it again and again through this always brings me to tears - in the best way 💛

It was so hard to wait the year ahead of this celebration with it dancing in my mind, but worth every second to share the magic of @sarahslutsky & @tsteak22 , their story, the weekend they created with this incredible team, & their love 💛

✨There’s a rumor going about that @rockymtnbride official V9 National Magazine is out ( & found all over the US & Canada!)….which means I can finally share my 3-day weekend of magic at Becca & Zack’s incredible wedding has a gorgeous multi-page feature! ✨

I had these beautiful humans on my books for a long time before we got to meet for this incredible bash to celebrate their love, and it was more than i could have ever imagined. 🥹 The intention & detail in every single bit. This one changed my love for intentional time in my own books for couples that want to invest in remembering everything from that moment in their story. It’s a lot of work & not gentle on the body, but the honor of capturing each day & all the little moments and details is something I love, cherish, & is worth it in every way. Can’t wait for more of these 💛

finally starting to get caught up from this season & begin prep for rebrand updates coming this winter✨ & getting a chance to share this magic as i begin to prep for many blog updates long overdue🌹

it was such an honor to have this gorgeous social media bonus feature on @overthemoon earlier this summer as a little collab 🌸🌝 my favorite part of the feature ( which you can see on their account on ig!) was that they selected all images from Sarah & Ryan’s addition of a nostalgia set; some of my favorite dreamy moments of all-time 🌼
*including an image as Sarah walked in with her mom & dad that will forever be a moment in my heart 🌹*
i’m so endlessly thankful Sarah & Ryan opted to add this to their package, and grateful to @overthemoon for featuring this bit of my work that is extra special to me. a love of mine that slowly grew into this from its beginning in 2019, these images & moments will forever be some of my favorite ✨🌙 taken in Foxfire Mountain House by @erinwheat

i really think this seasons nostalgia sets and having almost every single client add them or do all of it has been one of the most fun parts & best distractions when trying to work not feeling good. they just make my soul happy. and highly consider just doing only these- i swear i have this thought every set 🤣🙃 taken in Grand Teton National Park by @erinwheat

Kallie & Hayden 🕊️

A simple, intimate little ceremony at a spot I’ve spent a ton of my career in the Tetons at — with stunning moody light and storms & just a beautiful union to bear witness to.

Hopping back into the nostalgia collection of filmy heaven for these two. Gained two incredibly good souls in my life ( i’ve shared in some amazing gained clients and endless check-ins and chats the past month or two and i’m so so so thankful, especially during this bit of life), and got to have the best day with them.

It’s been SO hard making myself try to focus on all else and editing more and posting/ prepping those less- and then waiting to get these up 🫠 BUT, we’re in it now and it means more than words how much almost all my people have cared far more about my choice to push to be with them rather than giving more chaos for them this summer than about how fast peek sets came/ are coming. So much. 🙏🏽🫂🫠
And…. i learned even in my own times that getting to soak in these moments in life and the being, the feeling, the shifts it brings and can be fleeting is worth so much to be present for— because it’s truly a one time feeling and experience in your story together. And then, you get to enjoy it again in a whole new way and relive it all so much more 🤍.
So, the unexpected chaos of this year aside, i’ll always care more now about getting the outline of each story and the best version I can to each client than racing like I used to to deliver a couple hastily edited files. (& no shame on anyone doing it differently, we all have different things that work for us & feel right to what we value 🤍)
Living it is far, far more meaningful than posting asap in this culture we’ve created. It’s only when you get a taste of how quickly it can change or you can lose moments with someone that you realize how much you’d give to have those back, and then cherish the images that preserve it with time. 💛
All that said, it’s pretty damn great to bask in each memory from these days, so don’t count me out entirely on getting to share 😉 taken in Grand Teton National Park by @erinwheat

mixing up all of what’s ahead here, and starting that with the first little bit of this stunning misty mountain elopement in their nostalgia film collection 🥹✨

i have so much work to not only get to work on but share too i am beyond excited. this day, these two- a total treat. you don’t always entirely connect or feel a mutually easy dynamic with both people in this work, but both Kallie & Hayden made it the easiest and best. And, they’ve been an absolute blessing- in a time for THEM, they have endlessly encouraged my well-being during the past weeks over longer days and rushing for these ( i’ve screenshotted so many messages from Kallie that made me teary 🫂) - and I’m so grateful. Plus, the best chats ever too- always thankful for the ones like this that find me & let me be a part of their day and story.

more of this day, with a mix of another / some film & a bunch more ahead too. probably my favorite ceremony/ set of captures from this spot in the park ever- such a dream & this light was heavenly & so fun. ✨i am wrapping up my season a bit more for a while soon & gonna be fully into catching up and getting tons set and sorted for next year.

but first, lots of time in the editing bubble when i can ( like 2 am per usual though I am trying to break this 🤞🏽🙏🏽) and enjoying reliving all these magical days. truly the honor of my life to capture so many of your unique, incredible stories & loves. ive gotten to see a bunch of people i love this past bit whose weddings i’ve gotten to capture and i’ve been teary quite a few times- it just means so much to me. 🤍
