no i’m not dead lmao

it’s without question that this is overdue and for a lot of you, you probably saw this coming.

i made a statement around a month or so ago saying how i haven’t been working on any music this year mainly due to finalising my last album ‘erase’ and also with organising Fatal Fest Vol.1 alongside dealing with my final year of uni. all this accumulated to me pushing real life aside and i missed being ershia rather than ersh1a.

on top of this, the motivation came back and i felt stronger, to an extent, but one thing that came across in the process was that i don’t enjoy this anymore - hard pill to swallow. ‘this’ being Ersh1a.

being a performer/artist was the ambition bestowed to me from when i was 13, making me pick up a guitar for the first time. fast forward to when i was 17, ended up being a singer/rapper, predominantly being a product of c0v1d boredom. was never my intention, but i stuck with it because of my pure love for music more than anything.

it’s a no brainer that i’ve never stuck to one style, constantly experimenting with different music. whilst so many of you have loved it and shown support throughout the years, in retrospect i think this inconsistency is what’s fuelling my creative frustration the most. upon this frustration, my love for metal music has fundamentally been neglected to the point of realising that maybe that sort of music is what i should’ve been doing this whole time. and that is exactly what is about to happen.

with that said, it’s time for Ersh1a to throw in the towel. again, this isn’t goodbye, but rather see you soon.

this new chapter is a breath of fresh air, something new, organic and frankly made me the happiest i’ve been since i began my journey as an artist. many of you won’t care for it, but some of you may enjoy it. but ultimately, i’m doing this for myself and to make 13 year old ershia proud.
