grad party pt.2
👩🏼‍🎓
thank you to everyone around me who has supported me through my academic journey- my family, friends, boyfriend, professors and mentors. thank you to my auntie @agasweetreats for my wonderful yummy cake. to my parents and sister, for giving me a solid base to return to, who have always believed in me and remained by my side through every twist and turn i took. thank you to my old house buddies not only for allowing me to host at your wonderful home, but for strengthening my confidence and rebuilding my love for life during that strange interruptive year in london - one of my favourite years ever. thank you to all my exeter buddies who couldn't attend, but who imbue fond memories in their colour. to my friends who travelled from all across the country, for your never ending love and support carried by far winds that reminds me i have communities wherever i may settle. to my childhood friends, who have watched me grow from the odd purple-coated girl who ran around the playground alone, who have built me back together after each tumble, heartbreak, and set-back. to my partner, for solidifying my last year as my absolute favourite, for allowing me to view a place i fell out of love with under new, sparkly lenses. to my buddies who couldn't attend, but who took time to ensure i felt special and cared for. to those who i no longer keep in touch with, but cheer on silently or smile with nostalgia when they drink beers that remind them of nights filled with awful dancing. to my old coworkers, who made living in a new place possible, who filled the mundane everyday with giggles. thank you for never giving up with me and having faith that i would become the woman i am today. i am so proud of my first-class; it was difficult, but i believe this journey was worth getting back up for each time. the end of this chapter signifies the beginning of so many things- sobriety, stability, joy, discovery, wisdom and peace. i'm proud to be the smart bitch i always knew i've been deep down 👅

RAMS Presents 2025 (In 4K?!)

You know me, I had to swing by and support my fellow campus bands at this brilliant end of year event held by @exeter_rams

The support acts were great as usual. We had alternative rock with Crash Out, classic rock revival with @the_buzz_band, some dark trap with @ersh1a which surprisingly fit into the set despite being stylistically separate from the other bands.

The headliner of the night was campus band veterans @parasitic_mind with a (mostly) reunion show. New additions were @sidrai___ from @sidplusone, who locked in over the last couple weeks to play second guitar, and @josh.jorritsma of @kinglouisband fame, whose backing vocals gave the set an ethereal assassins creed soundtrack vibe. I have a weird mind sometimes.
