When the sun goes down, the EF Series keeps the evening going. With warmth just a button away, you can stay out long after dark, gathered around the glow of a fire. by @escea_fireplaces

Summer is on its way here in New Zealand, and life is slowly but surely moving outdoors. From the instant warmth of the EF Series Outdoor Gas Fireplace, to the open-flame cooking of the EW Series and the full outdoor experience of the EK Series, Escea has an outdoor fireplace to transform any backyard.

Escea began nearly 25 years ago crafting gas fireplaces, so it's especially meaningful that this month we've been recognised for both our electric and wood fires.

Our LR Series electric fireplace won Bronze at the 2026 Best Design Awards. We've also been named NZ Home Heating Association Manufacturer of the Year for our wood fire range.

A warm thank you to our exceptional team, our retail partners and the people behind every fireplace we make.

In @sedea_au 's Queens Park Residence, the DF990 Gas Fireplace sits within a veined marble surround, framed by full-height paneling. It's a modern fire that feels right at home in a Federation-era house.

Tall windows aren't just for the view outside. The DF990 brings the tallest flame view in our DF series into the room, and it's hard to look anywhere else.

Generous in scale and timeless in shape, the DF990 is a fireplace that draws you in. Its large window frames a warm, inviting flame, made for long evenings and gathering close.

Designed to suit the original character of the 1970s home it rests within, the TFS Series is a feature fireplace, but not in the way we're used to.

Surrounded by vertical tiles, this installation is one of balance and proportion, working with the surrounding joinery to create a "beautiful, useful space"

No two residences at Como Terraces are alike – and neither are their fireplace locations.

The Escea DS Series gave the design team complete freedom to place each fire exactly where it was intended. Flexible flue technology handles long, complex routes through the building, and discreet terminations mean no unsightly vents disturb the architecture. With support from Escea’s Architectural Advisory Team and detailed specification documents, projects like this become possible.

In material-led residences like those at @carr_au's Como Terraces, every detail counts. Throughout, the Escea DS1400 Gas Fireplace sits flush within the wall. Its clean, frameless design creates a quiet focal point that never competes with the natural textures around it, while delivering efficient, instant warmth on demand.
