This morning, our friend Hunter Chapman stopped by with a very special question for Michael Bell: “Will you be my superhero?”

Michael said YES! He’ll be joining Jeff Shropshire and Meredith Woods for a challenge of their own: skydiving to support Extra Special People (ESP)!

For 40 years, ESP has created life-changing experiences for people with disabilities and their families. Every day, ESP members demonstrate incredible courage, overcome challenges, and remind us of the power of the human spirit.

🐝💛 THE JOY HIVE IS BUZZING! 💛🐝

Last week we kicked off our very first Joy Hive, and it was everything we hoped it would be! 💙✨

Our students spent the afternoon getting to know one another, building connections, playing games, creating crafts, laughing, and having LOADS of fun!

The Joy Hive is all about creating a space where our students can experience friendship, belonging, inclusion, connection, and JOY — and our first afternoon together was such a sweet start! 🍯💛

And the best part?! We get to do it all over again TODAY!

We can’t wait to welcome our Joy Hive friends back this afternoon and continue the FUN!

We’re so excited to welcome Ava D’Alexander to her new role as ESP Atlanta’s Community Fellow! 💙💛🧡

Ava has been part of the ESP Atlanta team since 2024, serving as a volunteer, camp counselor, unit leader, and Java Joy assistant.

She’s already poured so much into our community, and we’re thrilled to see her continue growing with ESP in this new role!

On Friday, our communities participated in Tidal Wave’s Annual Charity Day at nine locations across Athens, Marietta, Rome, and Savannah! 🌊

More than 2,000 cars were washed in support of ESP! 🫧🚙

Thank you to every volunteer, staff member, and ESP family who showed up, waved signs, and helped make the day so much fun.

And thank you, @tidalwaveautospa Wave, for your incredible generosity and for supporting ESP and so many other organizations through your work.

🎅🏼 Booking is NOW OPEN for our Sensory-Friendly Santa Experience! 🎅🏼

On November 14th, we are so excited to offer a Santa Experience created exclusively for children with special needs and their immediate families!

With no lines, extra time, and plenty of flexibility - our hope is to create a joyful, low-pressure experience where families can make meaningful Christmas memories together :)

As a former special education teacher, creating a Santa experience for children with special needs and their families has always held a special place in my heart. I am overjoyed that this dream is finally becoming a reality!

We’re also so excited to be partnering with @esp.atlanta to have their Java Joy coffee cart on site serving coffee, hot cocoa, and plenty of smiles while you’re here. ☕💛
