so about Friday night… (and I’m not talking about the four glasses of champagne I sculled in 24 minutes)

Part of my 2026 resolution was to pick back up photography, and knuckle down on the creative projects I’ve had stewing away in my mind for yonks. Due to reasons (✨anxiety✨), I didn’t grab my camera to start seriously until April. Now June is almost over, and here I am smiling with a photo I took of @wheredidhugo_ as part of the @australiancreativecollective charity walk last weekend, which selected one of fourteen, out of more than 10,000 entries for @royallemodelling and @teds_cameras “Exposed” exhibition. To say I’m beyond floored is a massive understatement.

In the two months’ I’ve been doing this seriously, I’ve met incredible people, some of whom have become very important and special to me. 💖 So thank you all for the fab kindness you’ve shown me, and for cheering me on while I’m awkwardly standing in the corner unable to smile without my eyes closing. You guys rock.

And of course, thanks to my amazing sis @rdonfilm for being the best +1 in the world and a killer photographer in her own right!! 😍🥰👯‍♀️

Bottoms up!! 🥂🍾 taken in Ted's Camera Stores by @esraceptional

last week, @rdonfilm and I went to Canberra, and I got stuck in the carpark underneath Parliament House and fought with security. 😀 (it really was a fab day though!)
