These are some photos from the class, Natural History & Resource of the California Channel Islands.
-
The class went to Easy Anacapa Island, learning about the flora and fauna found only our Channel Islands!
-
They were able see crucial seabird habitat restoration, the island ecosystem, and the cultural history of the people who occupied these islands.

Take a look at our ROV (Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle) team! This team is comprised of 👩‍🔬capstone students👨‍🔬, students, 👩‍💻technicians👨‍💻, and volunteers!

Get involved with the ESRM community! We offer a lot of opportunities for research and volunteering.
-
Safety training is required for any research/volunteer activity. Don’t worry, it’s a short 20 minute training every Thursday at 8:30 AM.
-
We have our volunteering hours Thursdays 3-5 PM and the Aerial and Aquatics Robotic Research group meeting Friday’s 12-12:15 PM! taken in CSU Channel Islands by @esrm_csuci

The volunteer program is a great way to explore a myriad of research opportunities and make awesome friends!

In order to volunteer, you must attend a MANDATORY safety training which takes place in Sierra Hall 2314 every Thursday 8:30 - 8:50 AM.
