By the numbers...

101...The number of skills presented in the book.

3..The number of months it took me to write it.

1000+...copies sold on @fieldcraftsurvival alone.

4...years my book will turn this April.

5...star rating on Amazon with consistent placement in the top 50 survival books since release (many times surging to top 10).

93,994...number of words in book 2 already written and waiting to publish that will blow your mind!

3...the third book I will write about searching for the cave where my Filipino relatives survived during WW2.

20,000+...the number of copies out there in the wild.

I'm incredibly proud of my first book and I am thankful for all the support you have shown me over the years making this book as popular as it is. When people show up to courses with pages in my book marked and highlighted, it continues to amaze and humble me. My job is to make you more capable and I love it. As always, I'll encourage you to purchase another copy and donate it to your local library for distribution to help out those less fortunate. Make sure to specify that or they could put it in their curbside sales. Continue to train, continue to level up, and continue being the feeder!

EDUCATE

Obsidian Spear Group is a company I contract instruct with. I'm very fortunate to be included in their cadre and I always make sure to represent well in courses. Ed Guerra is the founder and we have recently included @matt.m.vandy to the ranks. There is no shortage of quality training available. Coming up in less than 2 weeks is my Hunter Prep course at @colemanscreek in Ellerbe, NC. Look for it on the Colemans Website. More training is lining up for 2027. For now, keep sharpening your spear and becoming more skilled in what you do.

EDUCATE

Be a student for life. Recently had an opportunity to try out a @geissele MRGG in 6.5 CM at @riflesonly_nh. My friend Mike M. Helped walk me onto some targets at 570 yds. Even though this test fire was informal, I picked up some great tips from a great shooter. Be open to learning and you'll always grow in your capabilities.

EDUCATE/ENTERTAIN

Recently traveled to New York to co-host my buddy's show, @jasonthebutchertv. We paddled @hornbeckboats where I used to go with the Wilderness Learning Center family years ago in the Adirondacks. We also lived out some childhood dreams testing some 80s movie myths and legends. Jason and I always have a blast and I wish I could share all of the shenanigans (Farva style) from the shoot. I guess you'll have to tune into season 3 but first season 2 comes out this Monday on the @outdoorchanneltv at 9pm EST. I will he providing survival tips for most of the episodes moving forward. My sincere thanks to @4milepost for the camaraderie and good times at the cabin. Photo credit to Kyle Sullivan.
