Building a cosmic drop with the Blast function on the @wmdevices Cosmic Debris… if only I had a third hand for this patch. 🙃

Usually I perform with my friend @raafmodular but this time I did a solo performance at @modulab_eindhoven ; an ‘Electric Ladies’ evening with only female acts (@marijn__s @jungleofwires and @riannewilbers on the lineup.
It was a lovely evening full of interesting performances. Here’s some footage of mine.
I’m performing with my modular case in combinatiin with the Digitakt drumcomputer.

Some footage from our performance at the live cinema ambient evening at Lab1 in Eindhoven, joining an evening with Andrea Chichecki and live visuals by Oilhack.
We were happy to play our live modular set and to be part of such a well curated night.

We were sooooo impressed by Andrea’s beautiful ambient set! And the live visuals by Oilhack made it a stunning experience at the big screen in the cinema hall. 😍
We’re grateful we could contribute to this great evening.

Thank you to all friends and familiar faces who came out to support us. We really appreciate it!

Small impression of our modular performance at @maanzin.ruigoord in the @ruigoord church. We started with ambient, slowly building up with beats, setting the tone of the evening for the rest of the event.

Preview for our liveset at DMF, the fullnliveset premieres tknigbt at Raaf’s Youtube channel, Raaf Modular. We had the great honour to play a liveset at Dutch Modular Fest It’s the “Dutch Superbooth” a great event with makers, musicians and lots of friends! We were asked to play for 30 minutes. We decided we wanted to improvise the most of our set. So the first 20 minutes you will hear are fully improvised. The only thing we decided on was the key we were playing in. We started with totally empty sequencers…and a plan. We wanted to begin slow and dark and then make a big melodic buildup towards the end piece. Please enjoy! #eurorack #modular #liveset taken in WORM Rotterdam by @estroe

Thank you so much Dutch Modular Festival for having us and thank you audience that was there, for listening so attentively and open. We felt freedom to improvise the most of the performance because of that ❤️
Thank you; Worm as well for good monitors and sound system!!!
And thank you; friends that sent us small video clips 🙏🏼
Full video registration will be online at Raaf's YouTube soon.

Another great evening with three wonderful musical women: @estroe, @marijn__s and @jungleofwires were lit! Great emerging soundscapes, minimal themes and soaring basses accompanied by pounding beats…and everything in between.

Thanks again @zeeplab.studio for hosting these events. taken in Zeeplab by @estroe

I'm dedicated to do a few walktroughs of my set, going from foundation to foundation, project to project and practice my improvisations, build-ups and transitions. But often I feel a bit paralyzed; scared as I am to lose the moment and the magic.
I really have to kick my own ass then and practice what I preach to others and say to myself: just do it!!
Remembering one of my core values to go out of my comfortzone and just take the challenge.
Part of ACT (acceptence & commitment training) that @kellydekker_ shared with/ taught me and that I now use in my own coaching with conservatory students. I don't think that without ACT I would do what I'm doing; making music and performing with my modular even though it's nerve wrecking sometimes.

Performances coming up:
18-07-26: @zeeplab.studio
25-07-26 @wilgenportaal.ruigoord @landjuweel.festival
29-08-26: @dutchmodularfest as part of @estroe_raaf ❤️
