Yesterday was a busy @amsterdamdanceevent day for a whole lotta @conservatoriumhaarlem related artists. Several performing students including @fiene.dj @thomas_unbeliever @zukewashere and special shout-out to our Ad E-Music student @efimer_ofc who only recently moved here from Mexico ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿค˜ On top of that staff members @joranvanpol & @estroe displayed their exquisite skills behind the decks/wires ๐ŸŽ›๏ธ And of course we are proud and very happy to see so many former students shine bright on their authentic pathways and yesterdayโ€™s timetable: much love and respect to @holltmusic @robbyeast @dstone @mhighmusic @anotr @kyrakhaldi @theoutsidersdnb @jambackdj ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ™Œ

After a long break weโ€™re finally back with a new ACCENT ONโ€ฆ This time featuring this very special liveact @estroe_raaf Check the link on bio to read the interview. Two modular systems, one conversation. Estroe & Raaf build their sets in the moment โ€” melody, timbre and rhythm pushing against each other until something spherical takes shape. The beats are there, glowing and sometimes danceable, but they never take over. @estroe came up as a DJ in Amsterdam in the late โ€š90s and found her way back to the stage through modular. @raafmodular patches layered, cinematic worlds from his own system. Together, on Rosedale Records, theyโ€™ve found a third voice: music for listening and for moving โ€” often at the same time. โ€ฆ Thanks for joing syncope โœจ๐Ÿ–ค

Release date: 24 november 2008 Alex Q - Mejis - original mix Mejis, is a thing of true beauty. Deep, lush and with a wonderful euphoric feel, it really is an outrageously good production. Its beautiful melody is wrapped in exquisite synths that envelope you in their warmth. This will be huge for so many of you! For the remixes, @masaya_claudya has again picked well. Not one for treading the obvious path, here again she picks some exciting, fresh talent. Alex Q - Mejis - Chaton remix First up is the Czech head of Plak Records โ€˜Chatonโ€™. His releases already firm favourites with the likes of Vath, Hawtin and Loco Dice, here he takes us on wild and crazy ride. His remix is all about the horns. Stripped down to horns, drums and percussion, it really is something to behold!! Alex Q - Mejis - Dana Ruh remix Next up is German โ€˜Dana Ruhโ€™, who takes the original even deeper. Stripping it down, in places to bare synths and bass, she delivers a beautiful deep house excursion for us. Alex Q - Mejis - Estroe remix To round of the package with have Hollandโ€™s finest โ€˜Estroeโ€™. Keeping true to the original, she adds her touch, with some sultry percussion, dreamy efx, and little cinematic drama.

Preview for our liveset at DMF, the fullnliveset premieres tknigbt at Raafโ€™s Youtube channel, Raaf Modular. We had the great honour to play a liveset at Dutch Modular Fest Itโ€™s the โ€œDutch Superboothโ€ a great event with makers, musicians and lots of friends! We were asked to play for 30 minutes. We decided we wanted to improvise the most of our set. So the first 20 minutes you will hear are fully improvised. The only thing we decided on was the key we were playing in. We started with totally empty sequencersโ€ฆand a plan. We wanted to begin slow and dark and then make a big melodic buildup towards the end piece. Please enjoy! #eurorack #modular #liveset
