The best house to ever be in Norman, Oklahoma.

I have lived with these guys for the past 4 years and what an incredible ride it’s been. The Slam literally had something new going on everyday, whether it’s a random hyper fixation on bowling or randomly having the urge to watch The Bee Movie (fantastic film). You always had to be on your toes in this house

The Slam Men were not only awesome to live with, but they genuinely helped me become closer with the Lord and grow me as a man. These Men of God showed me grace when I was not deserving of it, and supported me through thick and thin. Everyone in this house showcased the heart of Christ in such amazing ways.

Though we are going separate ways, I will never forget the incredible times I got to share with these guys, and when we eventually meet up again for another random adventure. Love you guys 🫶🏻#SlamForever

“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

I’m finally (almost) free!

Going to school at OU has been a dream of mine since I was young, and I’m so blessed to be able to graduate from the nursing school here. Had some great times and some truly just awful ones (Human Physiology 🫩) but it truly has been the best 5 years of my life. Thank you to all who made this journey so sweet!

Proud to say that I will be working at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse! So excited for this opportunity!

I’ve learned a few things this summer:

1. The Lord is forever faithful and brings joy forever
2. The community at camp is so so so awesome
3. Megamind is a really funny movie

Ive said it every year and will say it again, thankful for the continued friendships and amazing ministry I got to experience while I was here for 12 weeks.

Also, my immune system went undefeated this year. Shoutout Emergen-C

If I had a quarter for every time I got sick at camp, I would have a whole dollar!

That’s summer 2023 in the books (I know I’m a couple weeks late but 🤷‍♂️)! For me, the camp experience is one that is so amazing and incredible that I can’t fit the words into this singular post. But I’ll try anyways…

First, is literally seeing God’s work in front of our eyes, and being able to grow in my relationship with Him so much, as well as seeing the campers grow with Him as well! It’s so awesome

Second, is the people. There is absolutely nothing like the community surrounding Silverado, and I’m thankful for each and every person I met at this place! You guys are awesome!

A wise camper once said, “Jesus is perfect, but we ain’t.”

God is moving at camp, and I am so blessed to be here for a little while longer! It’s awesome to see the Spirit move in these kids it’s an incredible blessing to be in the position I’m in now. Thankful for all the friends I’ve met and done life with in this half, you guys are freaking rock stars! Much love 🤟🏻
