2025 - Craziest year of my life

This year had it all; victories, disappointments, changes and growth. The one constant this year has been God’s love for me. He has not forsaken me and continued to make a path for me.

It’s been a tough year for me and my family. We’ve continued to stick together and they have been my rock this year: without my parents and sister nothing I achieve would be possible. I’m forever grateful to them. A big thank you to my family and everyone that supports me.

Despite the downs of this year, 2025 was a year filled with success for me. From getting my drivers license to winning my WAGR tournament only 12 weeks post hip surgery.

Accepting change is never easy but is essential for growth. It hasn’t alway been easy to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m not at the end of the tunnel yet but each day I’m moving closer to the end - the journey doesn’t stop here.

I cannot wait to see what 2026 brings 👊 by @ethandroos

Unbelievably blessed to have had the opportunity to compete in the @telegraphjuniorgolf final at Quinta Do Lago. A 9th placed finish for me wasn’t what I hoped for but the memories and friends I have made this week will last me a lifetime. I’m very grateful to have won the Spirit of Golf Award.

A huge thank you as always to my family and team who have supported me not only this week but the whole of this year on and off the course.

As always a big thank you to my Lord and Saviour who continues to be my comforter and shelter each and everyday. He deserves all the honour and glory: no matter the result on the course.

A few weeks rest and recovery and then ready to hit the ground running in 2026!

Ethan Roos continued his impressive form to lead on day one of the English Under 18 Championship at Farnham Golf Club.

Roos, who secured the Sir Henry Cooper Boys Champion at Kings Hill Golf Club earlier this week, fired six birdies in eight holes to close with a six-under 66 to sit atop the leaderboard.

Congratulations, Ethan Roos 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (E), 2025 Sir Henry Cooper Boys Champion at Kings Hill Golf Club in West Malling 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. We met Ethan on the Blue Label Bushveld Tour at Glendower Golf Club in Edenvale 🇿🇦 in February. He was injured that week and was informed that he was unlikely to play competitively in 2025. 4 months later, he won the Sir Henry Cooper Boys Championship. What a story!

Wow… I’m lost for words

“Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭57‬:‭11‬ ‭

All glory to God; so grateful to God for his faithfulness over the last few months, from surgery 12 weeks ago and being told I would be lucky to play competitive golf in 2025 to now winning the @sirhenrycooperjuniorchamps

70,71,69 to win by 3 in tough conditions. An exciting way to end an excellently run tournament (slide 4)

A huge thank you to everyone who has been in my corner supporting me in getting me to where I am.

Hard work continues: ready for the rest of the season 🤙

“Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭18‬ ‭

All glory and praise belongs to the Lord for his protection over me during my hip surgery yesterday morning. I’m pleased to say the operation went well: it was painful to say the least but very grateful for the doctors and nurses who looked after me.

I’m very blessed to have had my family and loved ones around me at this time whether that be my mum and ouma by my bedside or those with me through prayer; I am very thankful for you all. 🙏
