When a group does so much good for our community, sometimes it’s nice to give back to THEM! ❤️

The Palm Springs Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence have spent years giving back, raising money and supporting organizations and causes throughout the Coachella Valley. So for our latest Charity Bingo, we decided to turn the tables and raise some money to support the Sisters and the good work they continue to do!

And WOW — you showed up! 🙌 Our Charity Bingo with the fabulous Ethylina Canne was SOLD OUT, and we had an absolute blast while raising $1,315 for the Sisters, and almost $300 for The Roost Foundation.

A HUGE thank you to the Plaza Theatre for providing some amazing prizes and to Martin Ray Vineyards for generously providing wine prizes for our winners! 🍷🎭 Your support helped make the night even more special.

Thank you to everyone who came out, played, laughed, donated and helped us give back to an organization that gives so much to others. And, of course, thank you to Ethylina Canne for keeping the laughs coming all night long!

Community supporting community — that’s what it’s all about. 🫶🏳️‍🌈

And the next time someone feels the need to shame a drag queen, maybe take a look at the work they’re doing in their community first. They’re raising money, supporting nonprofits, showing up for people in need and using their platform to make a difference.

Instead of judging someone for how they dress, maybe ask yourself: What am I doing to make my community a better place?

OKAY! This past Bingo at The Roost Lounge was it! Ethylina Canne gave away 2, yes 2 trips to Puerto Vallarta. We, GED MAGAZINE gave away all of Ethylina’s favorite things!

We raised a whopping $1,800 for the Palm Springs Cultural Center to help with their fire damages. We were thrilled to have Michael C Green in attendance to talk about how much the community has stepped in to help.

And the topper of it all, to have the City of Cathedral City, CA - City Government present Ethylina with a proclamation announcing July 12 Ethylina Canne Day! Ethylina was also gifted a banner which will hang on East Palm Canyon Dr for the year. It was a win win day for everyone!

Thank you to everyone who attended and made the day so special! To Art Gregoire, Terry & Loretta, thank you for all the yummy treats! And Eric Antuna, thanks for the cupcakes!

And a huge thank you to David Reese & NBC Palm Springs for being there to capture and share the day! And thank for the beautiful videos!!! taken in The Roost Lounge by @ethyls_place

@ilovehollyday literally saved #PrideMonth for me! 🌈🌈🌈 She picked up the ☎️ when the call came through. I needed a remake of a dress that I had with just days before bingo at @ethyls_place. Not only did she create exactly what I needed, she got it to me in the mail #posthaste two days prior to bingo. And if that wasn’t enough, she made it completely by #measurementmemory, as she didn’t have mine on hand!!!! I’m just going to put it out there that she has won this month’s challenge on Project Runway: Palm Springs edition! 🏆 No matter if you need it in a day or in one year, she’s your gal for custom couture creations!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 #tellherethylsentya #co2urebyhollyday 📸: @gedmagazine 💇🏼‍♀️: @casaglamwigs taken in The Roost Lounge by @ethyls_place

🎉💄 5 YEARS. $106,000. ONE FABULOUS COMMUNITY. 💄🎉

This weekend we celebrated the 5-Year Anniversary of Charity Drag Bingo with Ethylina Canne and WOW… what a milestone! Because of this incredible community, we have officially raised $106,000 for local charities across the Coachella Valley. ❤️

What started as a fun afternoon of bingo, sass, and sequins has grown into something truly powerful — a community coming together to laugh, celebrate, and give back.

And this weekend alone, our anniversary games raised $3,000 for the Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus and $1,000 for Cakes 4 Kids, helping push our overall fundraising total to $106,000! 👏

And if you missed the celebration… honey, the prizes were next level! 👀✨

🎁 Grand Prize:
✈️ THREE trips to Puerto Vallarta!

🎉 Game Prizes Included:
✨ Tickets to Rhinestones & Rainbows opening night
✨ A Tupperware party + set
✨ Evening at Kiehl’s ($450 value)
✨ $500 shopping spree at Trina Turk / Mr. Turk
✨ Puerto Vallarta condo stay (4 days / 3 nights) + Southwest Airlines gift card
✨ Tickets to Plaza Theater

Plus Roost gift cards, shirts, and more fabulous goodies throughout the games!

Thank you Cake 4 Kids for the delicious cupcakes!

None of this would be possible without our amazing prize sponsors for this weekend’s event and the many generous supporters who have donated prizes over the past five years. Your generosity helps us continue giving back in a big way.

And of course, endless love to Ethylina Canne, who brings the glamour, the comedy, and the heart that makes this event so special every single time. 👑

Here’s to five years of drag, bingo, big laughs, and BIG impact… and we’re just getting started. 💋
