open mat. every saturday.

free and open to everyone, regardless of affiliation. no membership needed.

we believe jiu-jitsu is bigger than any one academy. this open mat is our way of bringing the bali jiu-jitsu community together. creating a space where people from different teams can connect, share knowledge, train hard, and grow together.

whether you want to roll, drill, ask questions, or simply spend time on the mats with good people, you are welcome here. we have a tough room, but, built on respect, safety, and the highest values that make jiu-jitsu special.

Putting in private session time with Professor @charlyalcayaga to break down the nuance. In Jiu-Jitsu, an inch can be the difference between getting swept or maintaining control. Having the professor guide every angle, weight shift, and micro-movement in real time accelerates the learning curve like nothing else. taken in Singapore 新加坡 by @etpbjj

One year later.

IBJJF Kuala Lumpur Open 2025 was a special moment in our journey.

Our first IBJJF tournament as a team.
Charlie and Jay competing for the first time as black belts.
Professor Marcelo, Charlie and Jay competing together for the first time.

Students and coaches competing together, showing our style of Jiu-Jitsu. A lot of gold medals, a lot of fun, and a great result for our team.

One year later, we finally get to share the full story.

And now, it’s almost time to do it again.

Today is the last day to register for the IBJJF Kuala Lumpur Open 2026.

See you on the mats.

Enjoy the Process. by @etpbjj

A proud moment for Singapore 🇸🇬

Congratulations to all the young athletes who represented Singapore at the Asian Championship and brought home meaningful results for our country.

Working with such inspiring young athletes every day at our academy, supporting their development both on and off the mats, and seeing them perform on the international stage wearing the Singapore flag is a very proud moment for us.

We are incredibly proud that ETP Singapore is home to so many of these young athletes.

Congratulations to @raphaelk1000 @raelyn.loves.bjj @chrissylovesdogslolo @dean_yeo25 @tan.mendel
@no_q_ratu_ain @sofiariv3s Elijah Lim their families and the Singapore National Team. 🇸🇬🥇🥈🥉
