A milestone Saturday for our team. Massive congratulations to our ETP students who earned their promotions. Having Professors @marcelinhotavarez , @charlyalcayaga , and @jairbomfimc gathered under one roof made the day unforgettable for our ETP family.

earned not given

the words @jairbomfimc said right before he called me as the lucky one to receive a stripe today. my second one and oh boy does that feel good!

i never would have thought that i would be so happy with a piece of tape 😂

at the end of 2024 i fell in love with jiu-jitsu, unfortunately got hurt at the very beginning of my journey and was out for almost a year. but i knew for sure that i wanted to do this and 2026 has been amazing so far.

two stripes on my belt, representing the journey. many lessons, lots of sweat, some blood and tears along the way. we just getting started.

thank you to my professors for this incredible journey, for sharing your skills, experience and wisdom with us. very grateful for all of it! @jairbomfimc @marcelinhotavarez @marlonmaike @etpbjj

and special thanks to all my teammates who i have the privilege of sharing the mats with, you are forever part of my story.

i love you all ❤️

six months ago she was a closed guard player who didn’t love being on top.
this weekend @tara_thornton_ won pan pacific gold at purple middleweight with two submissions and zero points against: one from top in the semifinal, one from closed guard in the final. the top game came from her work at @etpbjj . the guard never left.
swipe for the final finish.
