POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Some of us were deeply unliked eighth graders who memorized the page long opening speech of Henry V during lunch when nobody wanted to sit with them…and sometimes you get to perform that very speech with half a day’s notice for 200 people!! I am so grateful and so lucky and so happy! . Thank you @bardshakesmpls for letting me do MUSE OF FIRE (as well as Hostess Quickly and the Queen of France!), thank you to @jkraymartinphoto for getting these shots of me doing my most favorite thing of all (yes, all these faces are from the same speech), and thank you to William Shakespeare for writing plays so I can do my thirteenth(!) BARd with my best friends in the world :) by @eva.l.gemlo

thank you!!!!!!! Hello boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful few months to spend with new friends, writing on paper props, stacking boxes, and being very silly. I could have done this show forever. . . Courting Harry (2026) at History Theater by @eva.l.gemlo

We’ve assembled the bench for COURTING HARRY, and this cast is supreme! Before they were icons of the U.S. Supreme Court, Harry Blackmun and Warren Burger were just two kids from St. Paul. This season, History Theatre invites you into the chambers to witness a story of shifting loyalties, landmark law, and a lifelong Minnesota friendship tested by high stakes. Playing May 16-June 7, 2026. by @eva.l.gemlo

The Welkin by Lucy Kirkwood at @franktheatre was a magical experience!! A wonderful script, and getting to work with so many wonderful wonderful artists made this an incredibly charmed time in my life. I love you all so much. I made so many new friends during this process (wonderful friends!) and took literally zero pictures with them, so. Humiliating. by @eva.l.gemlo

10.25.2025 was one of the best days of my whole stupid life. Getting to be a part of such a special moment for my best friends @gcrosewell and @william.e.rosewell was the honor of a lifetime!!!!! AND we all looked so hot! Can you imagine! It's been a terrible terrible few months, and being able to look back on that night four months ago has been keeping me going through the long dark night of 2026. Love your friends. Love your family. The sun will return and return and return again. pc: @StudioTwelve52 taken in Lumber Exchange Event Center by @eva.l.gemlo

2025 year in review! This marks a full decade of doing these year in review posts, and I’ve tried my hardest to keep within the “one picture per month” guidelines, but sometimes more life and love and friends happen to just share one picture of it. Thank you to everyone who made this year (3 plays! 2 BARds! 1 one perfect and beautiful life!) so magical for me 🥰 by @eva.l.gemlo

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single script in possession of a good director must be in want of a damn good cast. This show was a balm, a joy, an impossible task, and a true gift in every sense of the word. It’s been a minute since I have gotten to do a show with so many actors (LITERALLY SEVENTEEN OF US) that were BRAND NEW to me! I made so many friends and they’re all so talented? I am the luckiest girl in America and I couldn’t have done it without you all. Thank you also to @hey_jessi_k for being so good at her job and thank you to @penelopepl for your vision and leadership. My word for today is: the end. PC: Tom Taintor taken in Theatre in the Round by @eva.l.gemlo
