Meet your court 👑

Rayyan Khan takes on Hamlet for this summer’s production. Previously with the Gray Mallard Theater Co., Khan played Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing and Paris in Romeo and Juliet. We are thrilled to have him back for a third season.

Playing Hamlet’s loyal confidant, Horatio, is Eva Gemlo. This is her first production with us and we are so glad she’s joined the company.

Come see Rayyan and Eva bring Denmark to life. 🎭 Hamlet runs now through August 2 at Sociable Cider Werks — free, outdoors, and open to all. Bring a chair, grab a cider, and join the court.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

A peek into rehearsals: Suit the action to the word, the word to the action.

We're deep in rehearsals, running scenes, building props, and sharpening our swordsmanship. Every night, Shakespeare's story comes a little more to life, and we get one step closer to sharing Hamlet with you.

We’ve assembled the bench for COURTING HARRY, and this cast is supreme!

Before they were icons of the U.S. Supreme Court, Harry Blackmun and Warren Burger were just two kids from St. Paul. This season, History Theatre invites you into the chambers to witness a story of shifting loyalties, landmark law, and a lifelong Minnesota friendship tested by high stakes.

Playing May 16-June 7, 2026.

The Welkin by Lucy Kirkwood is a layered play that will take you on a journey and make you want to talk about it. This is our final weekend. If it says sold out, come to the theater for the wait list as some folks may not come due to last minute changes to their schedules. I will put the ticket link in my bio.

I had a delightful visit to Messina with my wonderful Much Ado About Nothing castmates and 200 of our most gracious fans, so I thought I'd take the excuse to share some shots for those that missed it.

We do love nothing in the world so well as all 200 of you who joined us for Much Ado About Nothing!

It seems like just 16 days ago (wait…) that we were having weddings, nefarious plots, more weddings, High School Musical choreography, golf, and TrUe LoVe. 🥹

Relive the silliness through these AMAZING photos by @jkraymartinphoto. 😍

A massive thank you to our audience for donating $570 to Monarca! We are so grateful for you all. 🧡

Keep your eyes peeled for the Spring BARd Shakes show announcement, coming very soon!
