Massive thanks to @gleasonguitars for getting my father’s ’62 Fiesta Red @Fender Precision Bass back in tip-top shape. This bass was Dad’s workhorse from the moment he first used it in The Creation in ‘67. He removed the frets in the late ’60s when he went on to form Ashton, Gardner & Dyke, and it stayed with him as one of his most prized possessions until the day he died. So grateful to have it cared for with this much attention and respect. Thanks, Ryan! 🙏 #KimGardner #FenderPrecisionBass #FiestaRed #TheCreation #AshtonGardnerAndDyke by @evagardner
I’m usually in Australia on tour, but this time I’m here visiting family and getting to explore a little! 🇦🇺 What a super special day visiting @wildliferescuequeensland! The work they do caring for kangaroos, wallabies, possums and other native wildlife is just remarkable. What an experience! 🦘🙏💕 by @evagardner
Eva Gardner (The Mars Volta, Pink, Cher, Gwen Stefani) shows us her main bass that she's had since she was 15, which went on to become the inspiration for her signature Fender bass @evagardner @jondauria #bassgram #instabass #basslove #bassguitar #basslife #bassfamily #bassist #lowend #bassplayer #bassmag #bassmagazine by @evagardner

And what a venue! @larosatucson @bassmagazineonline 🙌 || Repost @jondauria “Always amazing spending time with @evagardner. Even better when I get to watch her blow shit up with The Mars Volta” by @evagardner
Four-string royalty @evagardner (The Mars Volta, P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Cher) recently descended upon @seahorsesound, wielding her legendary 1962 Fender P-Bass to take the Scrolls Bass Odyssey on a proper sonic vision quest. Listen as Eva uses the EQ and Drive channels to add the perfect balance of gritty power and crystal-clear articulation to her finger-plucked double-stops. Learn more about the Scrolls Bass Odyssey at link in bio. ------------------------- Directed & Edited by: Vice Cooler @vicecooler Director of Photography: Dalton Blanco @daltoncamera Audio Engineer: Scott Cornish @actuallyadog Shot at Seahorse Sound @seahorsesound by @evagardner
We were absolutely stoked to have @evagardner (The Mars Volta, P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Cher) be among the very first to take the Scrolls Bass Odyssey out for a spin. Captured at @seahorsesound, Eva came armed with her father Kim Gardner’s 1962 Fender Precision Bass and employed the Scrolls’ EQ channel to carve out a massive, full-bodied punch before kicking on the Drive channel to unleash a swarm of harmonic overtones.
We recently met up with the incredible @evagardner (The Mars Volta, P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Cher) at @seahorsesound and introduced her to the Scrolls Bass Odyssey! In this clip, Eva has both the Drive and EQ channels engaged and is using the Vari-Freq control to dial in a punchy, gritty, full-frequency tone. And btw, that’s no ordinary bass Eva’s using. It’s a family heirloom. This 1962 Fender Precision Bass belonged to her father, Kim Gardner, bassist for the legendary English rock band The Creation. He converted it to fretless circa 1970. Learn more about the Scrolls Bass Odyssey at link in bio ------------------------- Directed & Edited by: Vice Cooler @vicecooler Director of Photography: Dalton Blanco @daltoncamera Audio Engineer: Scott Cornish @actuallyadog Shot at Seahorse Sound @seahorsesound by @evagardner
