This candid shot was one year ago today, unbeknownst to @em_simpson08 and I, that night we would officially start dating. Holy shit, that was the best decision. I’m shocked every day by how well two people can fit together. She’s the most supportive, funny, beautiful, and genuinely good person I know. I love traveling the world, cooking dinner, playing our games, and just doing life with her more than I thought was humanly possible. I’m so lucky to be with her every day and I’ll never stop talking about it!!! by @evanlennon

🎶This book will change your life🎶
Wow has it changed mine. This weekend, after 804 performances and 161 cities, I closed out my time with The Book of Mormon on tour. I’ve struggled to find the words to explain how much these years have meant to me, but here’s my best attempt:

I booked this show at 21 years old and I leave it now at 25. This experience has changed my life in every imaginable way. I’ve been so incredibly lucky to have seen every corner of the United States and Canada. I’ve had the IMMENSE privilege of performing for over 1.5 MILLION PEOPLE. And hopefully bringing them laughter and an escape from the increasingly scary world we live in. That has been the most immense honor and something that I will forever be grateful to have had the opportunity to do.

On a personal level, my time on tour with this show has truly ushered me into adulthood. I have experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. I’ve learned SO much about myself and I have learned how to love and rely on the people around me in ways I did not know before. I have the gift of walking away with some of the deepest and most meaningful relationships of my life. I’ve had the honor of touring with 137 people over the years and I have learned something meaningful from each and every one of you. I mean it.

This will forever be one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Through all the highs and all the lows, I wouldn’t change a single thing. And just for fun- here’s some mind boggling stats about my time w/ BOM!

804 performances (I performed in 95.6% of them)
161 Cities
108,338 miles traveled by bus and plane (almost 4.5 times around the earth or nearly halfway to the moon)
153 flights
9,648 costume changes
3,216 wig changes
1,608 places calls

(Thanks to @jforward92 for taking my photo on every stage for 3 years and @em_simpson08 for editing it all together) 🫶🏻 taken in North America by @evanlennon
