A few weeks ago, I came across a baseball bat on my insta feed which inspired me to make a bat with my own twist.

I created a two-sided 3D carve baseball bat with walnut and ash using my @onefinitycnc with the help of my good friend @mitzpellicciotta 👊🏼🙏🏻 I used a 1/2” spiral upcut bit to do the roughing and a 1/4” ballnose bit for the fine finishing detail.

After four attempts, multiple design changes and a lot of problem solving, we got it!

Oh, the places you’ll go!

I’m excited to share the finished blackjack table with you. It’s also my #1000 post!

I’m so proud of this build and its unique style. I casted casino items in the epoxy. I play blackjack with my friends so I thought since I’m a maker, I can build a cool blackjack table for us to play on.

A big thank you to @totalboat for supporting this build. I am grateful to be part of the family of makers they support.

Back to the 1000th post thing, from my very first build that I shared on IG in 2019, a set of somewhat square coasters, to my latest build in this post, you have seen my progress as a woodworker, from day ☝️ until now. I’m super proud of how I’ve grown as a woodworker and more importantly as a person.

Oh, the places you’ll go is a reminder that life is an adventure filled with many challenges and joys, having the courage to follow our dreams and learn from our experiences, and of course to keep moving onwards and upwards.

Here’s to the next 1000 posts 🥂 🍻

I am so thankful to have been awarded the 2025 inspiration award from @askcarveco at this year’s @workbenchconference 🙏

A better workshop or office isn’t always about buying more tools or supplies.

Sometimes, it’s about creating a space that makes you want to build or work hard every day.

12 years ago, I was just a kid excited to put on that little orange apron and build whatever project was waiting for me @homedepotcanada free kids workshop.

I never imagined those Saturday mornings would help shape the path I’m still on today.

Today, I visited the kids workshop at the very same Home Depot location that I used to go to as a kid wearing that same little orange apron I wore 12 years ago.

What made the visit extra special is that @homedepotcanada arranged for me to give out limited edition HD FIFA World Cup jerseys to the kids at the workshop. That was awesome 👏

It’s funny how the smallest experiences can have the biggest impacts.

If you’re a parent with a kid who loves to build, create or simply figure out how things work, take them to one of these free workshops. You never know where that little orange apron might take them.

For me, it led to a lifelong passion for building.

Thanks to @homedepotcanada for letting me come back to experience again where it all began and for making this day extra special for the kids 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Have you ever seen a cutting board with a juice groove on the bottom?

I’ve been making cutting boards since I was 12 but this was my first time trying this design. I wasn’t sure at first but I’m really happy with how it turned out.

I spent yesterday at the @greenworkstoolscanada HQ putting their latest cordless tools and outdoor equipment to the test.

From build challenges to driving the Zero Turn mower and UTV, it was an awesome day of creating, learning, and hanging out with some great people.

Built over time with no shortcuts 🙌🏼

I still remember the first day of kindergarten. My backpack was bigger than me and I had no clue what lied ahead. And now I’m walking out of high school as a grade 12 grad.

A lot has changed along the way and there were many moments that didn’t seem big at the time but ended up shaping who I am today.

Not everything came easy but I guess that’s the point. That’s where the real building happens.

Up next…University of Western Ontario. New challenges, new ideas and a whole new build awaits.

Rest assured, I’ll be continuing with woodworking while in school. After all, my true passions are woodworking and creating content that inspires others to work with their hands and give back.

Grateful for my experiences and ready to write the next chapter.
