Getting to swing a bat made to celebrate my son in a real game is truly something special and I couldn’t be more thankful to @evans_workshop and his folks for the incredible gift!

Making with friends is always a joy and a privilege, so when @evans_workshop told me he was coming to Georgia for an event, we made sure to carve out some shop time too.

Along with my son, we built a baseball home plate ring holder to display C’s tournament rings, combining baseball, woodworking, and fun all in one project.

There’s just something special about creating alongside people who inspire you. Good conversations, troubleshooting, and building something meaningful together… it’s hard to beat that.

And if you haven’t already, check out Evan’s new bat making jig - it’s the coolest thing ever and I can’t wait to get my hands on one!

I hadn’t gotten a chance to edit together all the fun that was had on the second day of @alabama_papa_chad Sparks and Sawdust, so here is it, better late than never!

I truly always have been a guys-girl, always preferring to hang out with the boys and do whatever they were doing, even when I was young. And this weekend was the epitome of just chilling out, having fun and getting our hands dirty.

I’m so grateful for this community and the way they not only pour into me, but into my son. Thank you @carolinashoe for sponsoring, and to all the guys (and couple gals) I got to hang out with… You all really are the best of the best. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came to #sparksandsawdust here at the White Trash Hacienda two weeks ago. Needed to give a shout out to several people that made it happen. Yes, it will take me more than 30 seconds to say what is needed to be said, but it might be good if you make it to the end.
I made a list of people to thank and still missed several, but a big thank you to everybody that came to my little event down here in LA.
