🍆🍆REAL MEN REBOLT🍆🍆

Here at San Vito lo capo, we keep real traditional values of MANual labour alive. The family is everything and a man’s duty is to keep it safe and protected. That’s why only the strongest, the most stoic and the most mustachioed keep a watchful eye over the drag-oops I mean crag. Power tools, testosterone and power screams, baby. You just sit pretty and let the boys do the work.

🌈🌈JKKKK climbing and the outdoors is for EVERYONE. 🦄🦄 every muscle mommy, trad daddy and non binary baddie fuel this community. So get involved :) climbing season has official BEGUN. Come hang at the @timbuktuhostel to meet climbers, have a beer, visit the climbing shop and info point. Be a part of the rebolting community by helping us gather data, or if you feel you have other particular skills let us know! And a reminder that the fastest and tangiable way to help the project is donations! Either cash at the climbing shop or via the link in our bio. He may be a drilling daddy but he’s still a dirtbag.

HAPPY CLIMBING SEASON 😛😛😛

Can happily confirm the Tits Out Climbing Club ™️ will be running for a second season in San Vito Lo Capo from October

Will be working as project manager of the rebolting project, at the shop at @timbuktuhostel and socials for @sanvitolocapoclimbing ⭐️ aside from that working on a big fat climbing project, finding my multipitch partner(s) 😏 and convincing all my loved ones to either come visit or call me regularly so I don’t go crazy and get depressed this time 😃 - true story. Friends are important 🤣💗 and yeah, basically go up, and then down and then back up and back down for like 6 months.

Oh and watch the seasons change underwater 🐟🐠 that was also the best. Oh and bird watching. And spending time with the sweet lovely annika who also loves to get her tits out who loves me so much she will be my next door neighbour for four months 🌈💗 by @evaperrinfontana

We are magical skeletons. Our bodies just a box, our bodies a coffin. We are death incarnate and waiting to happen. Matter somehow charmed to life and waiting to be rocks again.

I spent a lot of time meditating on death in Naples. I saw more bones, bodies and skulls than I have in my life. The five of cups. The price of love is grief. The cost of loving, loosing. I walked, endlessly, thinking, eating and wandering into churches. How do we honour the dead? How do we keep them alive? remembering, ruminating. Why/how do things die? Through acceptance, through neglect. Where does it all go after? Into the eternal nothing -are we not there already? When you kissed me and said see you at home, my bones felt it in the another life.

It’s been an interesting Saturn return for me. Wether on not you believe in the concept- the Rome to Naples journey was the exact route I took on my last breakup that still wears its footprint in me. This year has put me back in the places I was or was meant to be last year and has given me a chance to review the same situations from different angles. In many ways revisiting Naples and being so in touch with death felt like funeral for many parts of me. Whats sticking is the grief.

Confronting and keeping a memento mori though has long been part of my joyful nihilistic practice. HAHA we’re all GOING TO DIE whatever that means !!!! Sometimes I’m not even sure I believe in death, but as my knees start to hurt, I get my first wrinkles and regrets ! (Yep! Turns out regret is an emotion you DEVELOP - ew!) I can’t fight the fact that- yeah bro this body…. It’s gonna go at some point. THIS life I know. It’s passing. So get ur fucking ass out. Do crazy shit. This skeleton can DO crazy shiiiii. Like climb rocks by the sea. Get neked. Make four story human towers that wobble and then we can all marvel WOW LOOK AT US MAGICAL HUMAN SKELETONS ALL HERE TOGETHER.

I’m practicing letting go. The feelings still surround my heart and feel like they won’t let go but maybe if I believe they will and let it be somewhere down the line I’ll wake up breathing easy. by @evaperrinfontana

Not my favourite part of my sketchbook but maybe the most important phase. While I love my abstract art and the journal, sketch combo I finally decided to stop being precious. Like… sketch… and also let myself plan and draft longer ideas (eg the snail sex comic which hopefully I’ll finish putting together - it’s what I like in my comics, weird, horny but also kinda deep) it’s also here that I start to learn and think about the human skull- it really makes a difference in the later sketches I’ll post. It’s a weird lead pencil phase which I also leave behind. That being said I make my first attempts at drawing faces that I think make sense and we begin to form recognisable features and characters. The two crater colour/pen drawings were the first two drawings of faces I felt proud of. With those two I really understood the importance of the eyelid when drawing a face. I actually kept one of the two ribbons tucked I that page to show people. I love the colour even though it’s odd, they feel alive and to me exist beyond the page.

At this phase I’m starting to realise that I need to come home to myself, I’m searching for meaning, I’m trying to find answers and people and I’m coming up dry. The sketches in April were done when I decided it could be therapeutic for me to just absorb the world and try draw it as a meditation. Not a bad idea. Definitely needed therapy though 😂😅🫣 by @evaperrinfontana

To the part of me that decided couch surfing in Rome with a witch and studying a week of Gestalt & Art therapy was a good idea 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

🐈✨🌀 life has thrust me into the depths of my patterns and I feel I might actually be at the inner tip of the spiral - quick - call your therapist and your psychic! This might be the crux of your Saturn return and finally your opportunity to re-examine how you unfurl and undulate into the universe from henceforth. 👋 🌊 guilt guilt waves waves peace peace tears. That being said- the time spent with the women 20 years ahead of me on this course was really life changing. I felt supported, seen and held. It was magical. I’m learning more and more about the power of feminine spaces but also wonder and will reflect on how that can be reflected in more queer spaces and how we heal too in community- particularly with people further in their age.

Some art -and I included some process photos for my tooth achey heart. I’m almost always the model in all my art. It’s cool. They’re actually self portraits now that I think about it. I think self portraits are really special and create a psychologically interesting space. At the moment I use them to conceptually express how I feel in a situation or try capture the essence of myself in drawing something more simple. But I’m really interested to experiment with the art version of affirmations. Can I draw portraits of myself walking boldly into the world? Pictures where I’m free from guilt and shame in my past? Images where I’m powerful and tender? We will find out :)

I’m going to Naples for a week starting tomorrow before I couch crash in London for a bit before returning to my parents for two months.

I’m using the Internet weirdly I know 🤣🤣 it’s a weird time okay. But I said I was gonna be more honest. I think I’m going to share more of my art too. It’s becoming an integral part of who I am. I got to PAINT for the first time this month and like…….. I might LOVE it. I LOVE color. You just slap it on and then stuff just appears. What the hell!!!!!!

Pt. II

An overshare? My October into December/January. I added in some pieces I left out.

Chickens, love and the ocean. I move to a new destination and culture. It’s the Christmas holidays, I feel the warmth of my friends before I move into deeper into questions around family, change, grief and then letting go.

I’m starting to use the free flow of painting used in art therapy and mix it with words and shape. Creating some kind of chaos dream diary I consider “my style”. The two page spread is the first art “piece” I feel I made, not just a one day sketch but something I worked on over a couple days. I’ve since worked over some of the pieces here, particularly the last, will post an update someday. by @evaperrinfontana

It’s coming up to a year since I left home and so much has changed about who I am. For one, I make art now, or enough of it that it feels like an integral part of who I am.

As a kid, my best friend would come over and read my diary, I miss being that honest, that vulnerable. So I decided to do a slice of that and just share here, unfiltered sketchbook. I used this book to learn and I loved it.

Most of this is around October when I had been in Italy and Barcelona for a couple months. The first drawing was made on the plane the day I arrived in sicily. It’s the first piece of art in my sketchbook diary ever, and it was when I was bubbling with love and adventure. The later pieces go through troubling dreams, chickens, fun and insecurity with friends, exploring a new town and accidentally taking shrooms. by @evaperrinfontana

🎶💨 SOUND ON 💨🎶

have you ever 🔧 so hard you 💨 a bolt off? My first time seeing a bolt snap right off!! 💥🤣🤣🤘🤘

these are the joys of crag maintance. This A2 bolt was rusted into oblivion at high wall at Calamancina. The route had been informally closed with a tag and writing on the rock but I’d still often see climbers on it- climbers who then would send me reports about it! I went down with another volunteer to scope out this route and take off the first couple hangars to discourage climbing. After my little thunderous try hard wrenching I had the bolt snap right off while removing the hangar. Consider this route 👹 CLOSED 👹
