Studio visit with Eva Struble @evastruble . Eva will be in our upcoming exhibition “Persistence of Vision” opening Oct. 24th, 5-8pm. Eva is one of 12 artists in this exhibition. Persistence of Vision brings together works that are difficult to place within a single category. Here, abstraction is not a fixed style. It may emerge through color, gesture, material, scale, distortion, or an unexpected relationship between forms. The exhibition invites us to look beyond the first label that comes to mind and remain open to meanings that shift as we look.

This exhibition brings together artists from New York, LA, and San Diego. The other participating artists are:

Daniel Weiner
Cynthia Lin
Doreen McCarthy
Rachel Hellerich
Cat Gunn
Dave Kinsey
Kelly Witmer
David Ambrose
Kaori Fukuyama
Kim Manferdi
Gabrielle Berens

Meet Eva Struble ✨

Motivated by the dynamism of the landscape, Eva Struble creates abstract paintings that investigate what is altered by humans, reclaimed by nature, and the evolving relationship between the two. In her paintings Karst and Panamint, she translates her sensory experience of place into luminous, layered compositions where geological forms dissolve into vivid color, texture, and atmospheric light.

Eva Struble's work is on view in Immensity of Blue through August 14th at Jane Lombard Gallery.
