through long nights and broken down emotions

dakota
my debut record

recorded this front to back in one night, what you hear is what I played that night for a group of some of my best friends and family. I know this isn’t normally what a modern album sounds like, but it feels like the only way these songs should exist. So, if you have the time or the care, grab a pair of headphones and sit down with it for a bit.

I hope you don’t hate it
I hope it reminds you of something you haven’t thought about in while
I hope, above anything else, it comes across as honest to you, lord knows it is

bless you for givin it a shot

cuttin out sat in the city
cross my mind it’s you
no shame
If I’m blamed

I hope you’re sleeping
I hope you’re sleeping

cats out the bag I’m movin slowly
lord knows with his cigarette
no shame
in running

that crooked light caught the memory
broke my arm to get it off
no pain
If you’re
the same

I hope
your

I hope your
sleepin

like a wind that keep west in blowing
I am on my own again
no shame
