After 3 years, 150,000km’s across 5 countries, over 50 interviews and being hunted down by dingos (actually happened…), we are proud to share the Official Trailer for my debut feature documentary, ‘Our Planet, The People, My Blood’.
This became more and more a labour of love as we met with more incredible people. Their stories are both heartbreaking and truly inspiring. A testament to the strength of the human spirit, even in the face of incredible injustice and adversity.
Our aim now is to help the UK’s Atomic Veterans win in their battle for recognition and compensation. This year, it is time to make a difference.
The film will be playing in select cinemas starting March 2026, with our World Premiere at @princecharlescinema in London on 12th March. Tickets available 12th Feb at the link in bio. Full lineup being announced shortly!

Very happy to share that my feature documentary, ‘Our Planet, The People, My Blood’ will be screening in my hometown at the @worcesterfilmfestival on September 24th!
Going 3 times around the world to capture this film was almost as nice as getting to bring a film of mine home for the first time in my career.

After 5 years, I can finally share our work on ‘Junction Row’ after its recent Fantasia premiere!
My favourite moment on this set, was with the incredibly talented @thekatharineisabelleproject
We ran a long intricate single take on a very emotional scene, that ended ultimately in Katherine on the floor, crawling backwards, in terror and loss. We rolled the first take and everything went perfectly, with Katherine ending the take with a perfectly timed single tear dropping down her cheek at the end of the shot (see slide 1). Despite a flawless take from all departments, the director wanted another. I protested that Katherine could never recreate that perfect single tear at the end of the shot, even if all departments fire perfectly again!
Overhearing this, she accepted that challenge, demanding another take. Amazingly, everyone nailed it, including Katherine with an acutely timed tear! On the same cheek to camera!
She then looked at me, demanding a third take to show this was no fluke… I have never seen a performance like that repeated so perfectly every time. How she did it, I’ll never know!

‘Our Planet, The People, My Blood’ follows Alan Owen’s landmark fight against the UK Ministry of Defence for the rights of nuclear test victims, including testimony from Jeremy Lebois of Oak Valley, near Maralinga.

A long wait on this one, but very happy to see Junction Row premiering at the incredible @fantasiafestival 🙌🎉

Shot out in North Bay, ON, in the dead of winter. -20 to -30 most days, this was an incredibly challenging film!
Shot on Arri Alexa with @panavisionofficial Primo Anamorphics, this was a heavy build! My AC’s @carlpmo and @ziralda_studio worked their asses off keeping up with the heavy demands! You guys crushed it!

Congrats to the whole team! (And a huge congrats to @mikaelabodin for really making this one shine!)

Incredibly honoured to have been nominated for the 69th @canadiancinematographer Awards for Best Feature Length Documentary.
Myself and (super talented director and friend) @giannamakesmovies spent months in Venice capturing the incredible life stories of @giampaolomanca2 and his family. It was truly eye opening to see the world from such a hugely different perspective.
We felt from the very beginning that this film required black and white, and opted for using the @reddigitalcinema Gemini with @fujifilmx_ca Cabrio 19-90mm, which allowed us to shoot in all manners of environments without the need for swinging lenses or requiring additional lighting. No lighting was used for the whole production, all natural, taking advantage of the naturally beautiful setting of Venice.
All interviews were shot with only one locked off camera, taking the approach of an observational single perspective with theses interactions, combined with subjective handheld ‘story time’ moments as we followed Giampaolo around his home town as he regaled us with stories of robberies, prison escapes, bombings and much more…

The radioactive fallout from the Nevada Test Site spread across North America, impacting the whole US, especially areas closest to the site that were left uninformed. When you account for the millions of people this would have affected, the suspect mortality rate is higher even than that of Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined.
