For this 2025 growing season my goal was to add a few more anemone and collarette style dahlias to my collection. (Because collarette and anemone dahlias are some of the happiest looking dahlias in my opinion!!) As of now, this is my small but mighty collection! They are all fun in their own way and I even added a few of my Floret dahlia seedlings into the pictures :) Swipe to the next picture to find out the varieties!

Oh! And I had to leave out a few anemone and collarette dahlias from this due to either them not blooming at the time or just missing this photo day! A few honorable mentions are ‘April Heather’ & ‘Alpen Pearl’ & ‘Appleblossom’ :)

& yes, this is my garage floor 😉

Comment below if you are growing any of these dahlias too!!

Film by me from a sweet evening in the dahlia field ✨🎞️

(Also, please don’t mind the few blurry photos, it was hard to focus at this time of day!)

This is a compote arrangement I made a couple weeks ago!

I captured these photos on a ‘power day’ as I like to call it where I was arranging & photographing lots of flowers for many hours. Good quality photos are important to me so it’s worth my time! I also quite enjoy it :)

This color palette was fun to work with! taken in Burlington, Washington by @every_bloom

Pics from a small dahlia harvest the other day 💛

So far, there no frost at both the locations I grow dahlias at!! We were at risk for it early this morning but I checked with my grandma (I grow most of my dahlias at her house!) and she said there were no signs of frost! So glad they will be around a little bit longer!

Anyone else in WA not get frost last night/this morning?

Dahlia ‘Camano Buz’

Such a staple orange ball dahlia & it pumps out the blooms like crazy!

Sandia Pouffe & Alpen Pearl

They are such happy looking dahlias!

Valley Rust Bucket—such a staple as well!

A little bit of a smaller bloom than Camano Buz

Dahlia ‘April Heather’! Likely my favorite collarette!!

Grows to be around 6’ for me and is also very prolific for me. taken in Burlington, Washington by @every_bloom

Nothing like a trunk full of flower buckets 💛

Did you know something I offer to locals are bulk flower buckets? We are practically at the end of the season for them, but they are a great way to get a selection of flowers for whatever your floral needs are!

Anyways, this view/array of summer annuals was too good not to capture! It’s mainly cosmos, zinnias, and annual phlox in these buckets with a few other flowers sprinkled in ☺️

Happy Saturday!

Dahlia ‘April Heather’ 🌸

I first discovered this variety years ago in @floretflower discovering dahlias book/her online library and I finally tracked it down in 2025 and I’ve officially grown it for two years now! April Heather is a workhorse and pumps out the blooms with suuuuper long stems. This variety easily grows to 5-6’ in my growing space!

I’m curious if any of y’all are growing this one too 👀 I’ll very likely have some for sale in my spring tuber sale in the new year! 🥳 (Likely mid-March) I may even try out the new @dahlia.market Shopify feature to connect my tuber offerings there!

A favorite pink dahlia: Bloomquist Pink Parfait ✨

I got my tubers from @sparrowglenflowers a year or two ago and have been obsessed ever since! It’s truly the most perfect bubblegum pink dahlia and is super versatile/great for bouquets!

Don’t you love the lemon-y yellow tips they have too? 🫶

This was my POV after harvesting dahlias the other day! The rest are out of frame but trust me it was a good harvest ✨

It’s so sad to think we are likely in the final month for dahlia blooms!

Since it’s officially fall I thought it was time for a fall themed dahlia flatlay 🍁🍂

This only includes two dahlia varieties too! ‘Camano Buz’ & ‘Valley Rust Bucket’ 💛
