Still can’t believe I achieved this! And how on earth has two weeks passed!!!

I didn’t have any time based goals, there were always things you wanted to do differently, but it’s important to remember I COMPLETED A MARATHON

We won’t meet again Sydney next year! But that’s okay!

Good things come to those who wait 😉😘.

I’m sooooo excited to follow everyone’s journey to their Sydney marathon.
It’s such a roller coaster from the high of getting that email to the fear of shit this is happening, to getting to race day and soaking it all in!
Sydney marathon was an amazing experience and I can’t wait for so many others to get to experience such an event also 😍😍😍

I love track, something about running around in circles care free, focused on one thing no distractions 🔥🔥

I haven’t filmed a lot of my training as of late, been trying to juggle a bit of life, prioritising recovery and making sure I’m eating.

Week 5 of the shred this week, kicking off at 101.2 and 99cm around the waist.

Let’s bring on the back end of the this challenge 😍 @nikitasoldicoaching

I’ve only started doing a bit more speed stuff last 6-8 weeks and already noticing a changes in my running.
Holding a 6:00 pace in my working sets I actually didn’t feel like I was dieing today.
Running at a RPE 6-7 is still pretty uncomfortable so while physically it’s 6-7, mentally not so much and I have to tell my brain that we are okay haha.

What a wild ride it’s been!

What started out to be a coping mechanism to managing grief and heartbreak from the loss of my dad, it’s really become something I love to do.
The community, the training, the cool medals obviously haha but on a deeper level the proof that I can do hard things, I can fight my thoughts in my brain.

Whilst none of this pain ever compares to the loss of dad, which still is so raw at times, I know that I have my dad’s stubbornness to let something beat me.

I can’t wait for 2027 and what the year will have for me, from Calvin Harris, to Sydney hoka half, to hopefully maybe another Sydney full or a return home to run Melbourne full marathon which will have so much emotion carrying me that’s for sure. 😍😍😍.

Whilst I put in aaaalot of hard work, outside of training there’s so much more.

The girls, coming to support when they can. Accepting my sundays meant running for hours, listening to my run debriefs or almost code browns @_lorendavis_ @__lou.c__ @itsallcake_kimmiesyd 😂😂

Thankful for my coach @nikitasoldicoaching for putting up with me and becoming a good friend in the process and @tealevellaphysio for also putting up with me and my inability to describe things, or odd ways of describing things but also teaching me how to look after my body, helping me learn what works for me.

Gold medal will have to go to my boyfriend…….i don’t know how many early mornings he has had to put up with my 3-4 alarms going off to get me up in the morning and some mornings not getting up at all hahah, for the runs where he has come to meet me with Panadol, or new shorts and brought mila too!!

Now we shred, get faster, work on my side hustle of a new bench press pb haha.

@melbmara 2027 hopefully 😍😍🔥.

@definitionfitness Super Saturday class tomorrow and a long run Sunday to finish the week off 🔥🔥

A wild Saturday night spent walking around Kmart, doing some training, whilst picking up some stuff.

Like us, if dogs don’t use the skills often they often fall to the side, so a quite 24 hour Kmart on a Saturday night gives us space to do some training, for both of us. Which always starts with a chance to go toilet before we go inside.
Some drop leash, and distressed behaviour signals, down position allowing me to check out something on a shelf a meter an away.

OOOOOOO THIS ONE FELT SO GOOD!!

First time in two months I’ve been able to run and not feel like I’m dieing physically, or end up a write off or tree stumps for legs.

Sunshine, sweat and new @asicsrunning Megablasts…..time to retire my pinks and purple ones and channel my inner green lantern/ hulk 😂🔥

@runhavoc/ @evolvehumanperformance program leading upto the gong5000. Time to get comfortable with being uncomfortable 🔥

Soaking up the afternoon sun, partly because if I walk too fast the back pain radiates into my glute and partly because because I need some vitamin d and was taking in how pretty the sky looked ☀️ by @every_dayrunner
