Anneke makes delicious food. Soon she’ll be the next top chef. Yum. And like me, she really really really likes taking photo booth portraits.

I don’t know this guy at all. He’s @steph_designlab ’s other half. Chris is an electrical engineer from Queens and in his spare time he’s a wannabe Olympic weightlifter. He also seems afraid to sit next to me in the Photo Booth.

Steph can kick your ASS. Not because she’s a great designer, not because she’s from Queens, not because she’s a jiujitsu master, but because she’s a wannabe Mother Teresa! BAD ASS!

I just met Ida. Although we circle in similar circles. I love photo booths and Ida has emotional attachments to photo booths. My art often involves people; Ida often photographs people. In my eyes, Ida is a pinball champion, in Ida’s eyes I may just be a pinball. Ida is currently also servicing photo booths in NYC. And Ida reminded me that “No love is ever wasted”

I’ve known Eric Doeringer’s great art work for many years. Years ago I would admire his work on the sidewalks of Chelsea. We never formally met though. Finally I asked him to meet for a beer and a portrait.

I’ve shared some digital bits of a conversation a year ago with Marco. But we met in person for the first time today. Marco is a photographer who doesn’t own any kind of a digital camera, a photobooth technician, and declares that digital photography is dead! Long live analogue!!

Tina might be shy. But then, I’m shy too. By day Tina is cleaning teeth. By night she’s a ceramic artist. But all the time she’s a photographer. I wonder if she’s photographed teeth? Either way, she’s a happy person with a happy smile!

Geoff stuck his finger in my ear. I put Geoff in headlock. But we laughed off our disagreement. And while he’s not instigating assaults in photobooths he does a little bit of this and a little bit of that – cartooning, writing screenplays, photography and running photoboothplanet.com
