Super Saigon - Bui Vien Walking Street is a hub of nightlife in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City.

Some of you may have seen this set already as I posted on my other page @adamkingstonphotography where I post my favourite shots but I couldn't help but post them again here as the last nod to Saigon and our final few days in Vietnam.

I love street photography and this style of editing is something I've been working towards for years. Ho Chi Minh City provided some perfect opportunities to get the shots!

Our 2nd sunrise at Ankor Wat and it turned out to be a showstopper. Most of the other tourists who crammed in around me and I was jostling for space with had left before this happened. For sunrise & sunset shoots, always stay that little bit longer than you think! As this became one of my favourite shots I've ever taken. We were super excited for the day ahead as we were about to explore some of the most spectacular temples in the world.

Baby Steps - An adorable baby Macaque learning the way the world works and captured while we were exploring the Linh Ung Pagoda. Macaques get a bad rep as yes, they are little shits most of the time.. they will steal your stuff, demanding snacks for it's safe return, they may even attack your young ones if you let them antagonise them. This is mainly due to living in close proximity to humans and the vast amounts of tourists who frequent their homes. The babies, though, show an innocence reminiscent of our own young exploring the world, learning how the world works and where they stand in the family hierarchy. Also.. Look at those hands.. Macaques are not even the closest species to humans, but the similarities we see in any monkey family still blow my mind.

Glorious weather on our last day up in the spiky mountains of Zhangjiajie National Park. We've had a bit of everything. With hazy rain adding a mystical atmosphere in the valleys, misty clouds with the jagged peaks bursting through and bright sun and blue skies lighting up the rock faces of the towering pillars.

The Golden Whip - Zhangjiajie

Day 2 in Zhangjiajie National Park was spent hiking the 7km river trail through the valleys of the giant sandstone pillars towering above us. The weather was our enemy unfortunately as it pretty much rained non stop but provided a kind of mystical atmosphere to what feels like a lost world.. except for all the other tourists of course.

Crystal clear waters, beautiful rainforest, with bird calls, waterfalls and raindrops as the soundtrack. Nature at it's finest and I didn't want it to end.

Our last views of majestic waterfalls of Furong Town. Even though it's a bit of a tourist trap it never felt too busy and was a great place to chill for a couple of days.

Chasing a fantastic sunset in a fantasy land.

We sat on the balcony of our hotel room watching this amazing cloud pattern forming in the sky constantly checking the time and wondering if would stick around till sunset, it did. We rushed to one of the best view points in Furong Town and saw one of the most spectacular sunsets we had ever seen.
