“Cyclical Incubators” for my Divine Circuits series. I wanted to use the intersection of ouroboros, which is seen to replace mary’s halo, women’s reproductive rights and technology. The ouroboros is an ancient symbol of a snake eating its own tail, symbolizing cycles of destruction and rebirth. In this context, this represents how women’s reproductive autonomy has been consumed and redefined over and over, like devouring progress to birth new versions of control and how women are seen as vessels with cyclical functions. Additionally, both circuit boards and women are seen to serve for one purpose. by @evilfaery
