Still can’t get over yesterday’s gallery guest! @thereal.efrenramirez (aka Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite) stopped by to drop off a piece for @lanafleming_art 🤯 for the Unwrapped Toy show!

Fun fact: we got to chat briefly about vampires before his show, and he told me his all-time favorite is Gary Oldman’s Dracula. (Elite taste, honestly.)

It was an absolute pleasure meeting you, Efren—until next time, my friend! 🧛‍♂️✨

“Carnal Slumber” by @tomstrom
Acrylic on panel
12” x 36”

Working across diverse media, multidisciplinary artist @tomstrom creates narrative-driven compositions centered on shadowy figures and uncanny creatures. Grounded in familiar settings—often drawing directly from actual environments the artist has inhabited or encountered—Strom weaves lived-in landscapes together with personal tokens and autobiographical symbolism, allowing each immersive work to unfold as its own enigmatic, standalone story.

Just scratching the surface of my personal ’80s & ’90s collection—and the childhood inspiration behind our upcoming holiday show, UNWRAPPED: Art Inspired by ’80s & ’90s Toys. 🍕🎁

Being a collector at heart makes this exhibition especially close to home. The submissions rolling in have been incredible, and sharing a peek into the vault feels like the perfect way to kick off the countdown to opening night.
