I didn’t realize overtime had stopped being extra money.

It became emotional survival.

Productivity became my identity.
Being needed became normal.
Rest started making me feel guilty.

I worked overtime so long that slowing down started feeling unsafe.

And when the overtime stopped…

I realized I wasn’t panicking about the money.

I was panicking because I didn’t know who I was without constant output. by @evolvewithdani

51 feels a lot like standing in the middle of a bridge...
At this age, I find myself looking backward and forward at the same time.
Remembering who I used to be while trying to become someone softer, wiser, and more honest with herself.
Some days I feel incredibly grateful.
Other days I feel the weight of everything I’ve carried.
Ahead of me is a life I can’t fully see yet.
And lately, I think that’s what feels so strange.

Amazing afternoon. They did 11 shows in 5 days…. Hats off!!!!! When they added a 4pm show we RAN! loved @garyowencomedy @roblaffs (wish we would have gotten a photo)

When they say “work hard play hard”
I think we don’t realize that it’s actually hard to play….. my husband, and I both worked until minutes left to spare-
It was a push to get to this show- I’m so glad we did it.
Hear me! It’s important to be VERY intentional with your time- Even if it means you work till the moment you gotta run out the door and rush back home for another work shift 😭
Side note- I almost talked myself out of going - during the show we found out that this will be one of the last times he will be performing in a smaller venue due to his success. We didn’t have VIP but we were seated like VIP🎉

This was a great way to spend a few hours.. we spend so much time working that we forget to schedule in a few moments to laugh. I also want to say that Gary Owen is a complete professional and his show was amazing and we really enjoyed his opening comedian @roblaffs . taken in Orlando, Florida by @evolvewithdani

In case you ever wondered if you were enough….. the answer was always YES. I been here, there, somewhere, everywhere and the loneliest place was “UNaware”…..
it took so many years to figure out that I could simply decide to like me.
Saw a quote “don’t take shade from a tree that bears no fruit”….

Life is strange. We come with nothing and fight for everything, and in the end, we leave everything and go with nothing.

Life is a fleeting journey, a cycle of gaining and letting go. We arrive with empty hands, yet we spend our days chasing, building, and holding on, as if we can outrun time itself.
We grasp at love, success, and meaning, desperate to make something of the brief moments we are given.

And yet, no matter how much we gather, there comes a day when we must release it all. But perhaps the beauty of life is not in what we keep, but in what we give, in the love we share, the kindness we leave behind, the lives we touch along the Way.

One of my favorite sayings….“If” …is a word….. right in the middle of the word LIFE……
how you manage it … well—- I guess that’s up to you… lately shit has been going on.. but hasn’t it always? ….at some point we all will be faced with STUFF that we may or may not be able to predict or control … there’s one thing for sure- nothing is guaranteed- just for once STOP and FEEL the air in your lungs and be in the present—in Hell or heaven ….. weather you are in safety, survival mode, trials, tribulations, happiness,sadness, opportunity or oppression - please realize that you are YOU and for fuck sake — that is ENOUGH

I DO miss my car! A few months ago I opted to sell her. And can we just celebrate that red Smokey eye - that look was 🔥. I was really feeling beautiful this day. It was about 2 years ago.
