The one thing that I never expected when I started to document my weight loss journey, was the friendships I’d make in this community. It’s an incredible feeling to be around people who just get you, and meet you where you are in life.

This weekend @evolvewithdani and I traveled to Chicago to spend time with the one and only @viptravelgirl. We kept each other hydrated, split meals and took care of each other like only another bariatric patient would truly understand. This is a NSV that I treasure.

Find yourself friends who will Instacart a blood sugar monitor for you when you’re not feeling well just to make sure you’re okay. 🥹❤️

Vacation photo dump ahead! I had an absolute blast on my first (but definitely not last) @virginvoyages cruise. 🚢

We left out of Miami and visited Puerto Plata DR, San Juan PR, St. Croix and Bimini.

What an incredible trip but the best part of all were the lifetime friendships built with @evolvewithdani and @s.winnnn who graciously took me under their wing during this trip and showed me how to REALLY cruise. It’s so rare to find people you click with so fast and now I’ve got travel buddies for life!
