WILD & NAKED is the new album by Carolin Schnabel and her project LūX. It circles one question that sounds simple at first, until it doesn’t: „What’s left when I take off everything I believed I had to be?“.

Over the years, plenty had piled up: adapting, wanting to please, and the conflict of being a mother, a singer, and a breadwinner all at once. On top of that, the constant feeling of falling short of all of it. Out of that pressure, inside and out, grew an anger that became the catalyst. Today the single «POV: On the Sunny Side of the Street» is out on all streaming platforms, and it offers us a glimpse into the upcoming album, set for release on November 13.

Carolin Schnabel – vocals, fx
Jan Lukas Roßmüller – synthesizer
Elias Weber – bass
Henry Hahnfeldt – drums

Recording, Mixing, Mastering: Eike Johannes Kleine
Artwork & Graphic Design: Stefanie Kunckler

today i‘m releasing ‚faces‘. i wrote and recorded this song about month ago. it was heavy oh-shit-winter-is-actually-coming-vibes at that time and it felt like something needed to be expressed in a more direct and loud way. the instruments you‘re hearing are a philicorda and an electric bass. hoping this will speak to you as it spoke to me while making it. happy rest of 2025 to you all.
love,
elias

dear friends, i am so happy to finally share my album with you. it’s called „songs to sit with“.
i’ve been wanting to put this music out for a long time. some of it had to wait almost five years to see the light of day.
for a long time i thought these songs weren’t finished and only drafts recorded with my phone. but at some point i realized that everything was already where it’s supposed to be.
these ten songs were created throughout 2020-2024. in each of those moments were i made this music i was in a place that i think is the most beautiful and exciting place to be in. a place where there’s no self-judgement, no ego and above all, NO FEAR. only expression and childish curiosity. i wish to be in that place many more times.
the words and the feedback i got on the last singles were very heartwarming. thank you for that! and thanks again @sssssssamt for the master, @intao for the artwork and @papercuprecords for the support!
enjoy irresponsibly!
xoxo
