So how does ExamRevolution actually work?

Here’s the method behind the results.

We don’t believe in shallow question banks or outdated handbooks.

We’ve built a structured, step-by-step system that helps you truly understand your theory, not just memorise it.

Every topic is broken down into short, detailed videos.

Each lesson comes with a PDF summary you can keep for life, plus quizzes to test your understanding immediately.

You’ll get full access to mock exams, exam-style questions, and a 24/7 support group where you can ask for help anytime, whether it’s a tough question or a motivational dip.

This isn’t just another course.

It’s a complete study system built to help pilots pass faster, with less frustration and more confidence.

VFR cruising levels are one of those rules that become much easier once you understand the pattern.

For magnetic tracks from 000° to 179°, use odd thousands plus 500 ft.

Examples: 3,500 ft, 5,500 ft, 7,500 ft.

For magnetic tracks from 180° to 359°, use even thousands plus 500 ft.

Examples: 4,500 ft, 6,500 ft, 8,500 ft.

The goal is simple: aircraft travelling in opposite general directions are separated vertically.

One important note before posting: the EVEN and ODD headings in this graphic appear to be reversed compared with the standard rule shown by the listed altitudes.

Our Instructor Rating Online Ground School is now live, with both phases available.

For the Grade 3 Instructor Rating, you need to prepare for two theory exams:

1. Principles of Flight and Legislation
2. Navigation and Applied Meteorology

The course is built to help you prepare for both with structured video lessons, notes, quizzes, mock exams and the support you need to work through the theory properly.

We are also running a limited Instructor Course special on the full package.

The special is only available until this Sunday.

If you are planning to start your Instructor Rating and want the package details, send us a DM and we will send you all the information.

That feeling after your first solo navigation flight.

Weeks of planning, headings, checkpoints, weather, fuel calculations and navigation theory finally turn into something real.

For a student pilot, the first solo nav is one of those moments where the training starts to come together. You are not just following instructions anymore. You are making decisions, managing the flight and proving to yourself that the work is starting to pay off.

Enjoy the moment.

Then get ready for the next lesson.

Maneuvering speed, VA, is the maximum speed at which a single, full and abrupt control input can be made without exceeding the aircraft’s structural limits.

But there is one detail students often miss:

VA changes with weight.

If aircraft weight increases, VA increases.

If aircraft weight decreases, VA decreases.

Why?

Because a lighter aircraft reaches its limiting load factor at a lower speed, while a heavier aircraft requires a higher speed to reach the same structural load.

So do not treat VA as one fixed number for every flight condition.

Comment VA and we will send you a free guide explaining maneuvering speed and the effect of weight in more detail.

Meteorology passed with 77%.

Not every subject is going to feel easy, and Meteorology is one of those subjects that can stretch you with the amount of concepts, calculations and weather systems you need to understand.

But a pass is a pass.

What matters is that the subject is done, the lesson is learned, and the journey keeps moving forward.

Hannes is now through Principles of Flight, Air Law, Human Performance, ATG and Meteorology.

Five subjects down.

One subject at a time.

Congratulations, Hannes.

Air density and temperature have a direct effect on the thrust an engine can produce.

At lower altitude and lower temperature, the air is denser. That means more air molecules enter the engine, allowing it to produce more thrust.

At higher altitude or higher temperature, the air becomes less dense. Fewer air molecules enter the engine, so thrust decreases.

This is why hot and high conditions can have such a noticeable effect on aircraft performance.

The simple relationship to remember is:

Denser air means more thrust.

Less dense air means less thrust.

Comment THRUST and we will send you a free guide explaining the effect of air density and temperature on thrust in more detail.

Our Instructor Rating Online Ground School is now available.

If you are working toward your Grade 3 Instructor Rating, there are two theory exams you need to prepare for:

POF and Legislation.

Navigation and Applied Meteorology.

The course is designed to take you through that preparation with a clear structure over roughly 1 to 3 months.

Inside the course, you get video lessons, notes, quizzes, mock exams and the certification needed to move forward with the exam process.

The goal is to give future instructors one place to prepare properly, understand the theory and avoid piecing everything together from different sources.

In powered forward flight, the rotor system is driven by the engine and the airflow is generally directed downward through the rotor disc.

In autorotation, that airflow relationship changes.

As the helicopter descends, air moves upward through the rotor system. This upward airflow helps keep the rotor blades turning even though the engine is no longer supplying power to the rotor.

That is the key concept behind autorotation.

Powered flight means the engine drives the rotor and air is pushed downward.

Autorotation means the helicopter is descending and upward airflow through the rotor keeps it turning.

Once you understand the direction of airflow, the theory becomes much easier to visualise.

When your instructor says, “Just read back exactly what tower tells you.”

Then tower speaks at 200 words per minute and suddenly you are questioning every radio call you have ever made.

Radio confidence comes from understanding the structure behind the communication, not just memorising phrases.

That is exactly what we focus on inside ExamRevolution.

Clear theory, structured preparation, realistic questions and support when you get stuck.
