WAHALA FASHION SHOW ASCENSION / In partnership with Exhale Studios

Wahala is the product of two beautiful souls I got to know many years ago called Tobi and Sinead, and them just like us… are some of the few that never gave up on chasing purpose and dreams from the scene we were all apart of in Dublin. At the start of the year we as Exhale decided it was important to zoom out a little and really look around at who is embodying a similar approach to ourselves and Wahala was the obvious choice. Tobi like ourselves cares deeply about culture, history, the traditional community driven similarities between Irish and African households throughout decades that so many other cultures also share and the desire to be the mentors we never had.

This was also our first attempt at showing what we are capable of outside of marketing and distribution. 12 of the 26sets in this collection were conceptualised by @exhale_jr , designed and executed by @exhaletadhg + @tobi.tobe_

There is a new energy in Ireland and I feel very grateful to play a tiny part in bringing it all forward.

The years not done yet.

Super proud of @kidtravis who’s gone up over 250k monthly listeners in the last week or so. One of the most hard working and talented artists I know. He produces writes and mixes all of his own music.
Its an absolute pleasure to work with him and his management as they are so focused and genuine. I’m really looking forward to building with Kid more in the coming months. taken in Exhale Talent by @exhalemartin
