You can be really good at managing your life but not be living it.

I think that’s the woman I can’t stop thinking about.

She’s capable. Her life works. She may even really love her life and be deeply grateful for it.

I don’t necessarily want her to quit her job, implode her marriage, move to Bali and become a healer.

I want her to actually enjoy the life she has worked so hard to build.

Not when the project ends.
Not when the kids get older or soccer/baseball/basketball/recital season ends.
Not when Friday arrives.

Not when she finally goes on vacation.

Now.

That’s what a F*ck Yes Life means to me.

A life you’re actually living.

P.S. If you’re reading this thinking, “damn, I’ve gotten really good at managing mine,” Find Your F*ck Yes Life is my free 30 minute HypnoBreathwork experience. I made it to help you stop waiting for life to calm down before you actually start enjoying it. The link is in my bio. 👆🏽 by @exhalewithcarrie

Just a CA girl trying to warm her bones after going from the Sonoran Desert back to Vermont 🍂

Hence the sauna recap as I come down from the high that was Sedona Yoga Festival!

The red rocks. The people. The classes. The music. Getting to share Hypnobreathwork in a place I have loved for so many years, one that's been such a special part of my own journey.

What an absolute DREAM of a weekend.

So much gratitude to the rock stars on the SYF team who made it happen, and to all the beautiful humans who came to breathe and remember they're already enough with me.

Ambition and wellbeing belong in the same conversation. And I'm glad we're having it.

Next Friday, October 16, I'll be closing out the Women Rising Summit with a HypnoBreathwork activation.

Women Rising is bringing together ambitious women and supportive allies for a full day exploring executive leadership, entrepreneurship, career growth, and wellbeing, with meaningful connection, movement, and mindfulness woven throughout.

And I LOVE that wellbeing isn't an afterthought. It's part of the conversation from the beginning.

Because I believe we can want big things for ourselves, pursue meaningful work, and grow as leaders and entrepreneurs without sacrificing ourselves in the process.

I'm proud to contribute to this experience and to guide the room in our closing Hypnobreathwork activation. 🧨

If this sounds like a room you want to be in, come join us!

What if all the work you are doing to heal yourself is reinforcing the belief that you’re not enough yet?

One more book. One more training. One more pattern to understand. One more cleanse. One more protocol. One more thing you think might finally make you feel better.

And THEN maybe you will feel whole.

Enough, Already is an invitation to explore something different.

Rooted in Santosha, the yogic practice of contentment, this HypnoBreathwork experience is an exploration of being enough. Having enough. And experiencing and enjoying the life you already have, without waiting until you have fixed or changed one more thing about yourself first.

We’ll explore Santosha through breath, meditation, somatic practice, and reflection, so this isn’t just something you understand intellectually; it is something you get to embody.

I’m so honored to be bringing this experience to the Sedona Yoga Festival this week. 🌵

ENOUGH, ALREADY: A Breathwork Journey into Santosha
📍 Sedona Yoga Festival
🗓 Saturday, October 3 @ 6:30pm
✨ No prior breathwork or meditation experience needed

If you’re already attending the festival, come breathe with me.

Sedona, I’m coming for you. 🌵

I’m honored and excited to be presenting at Sedona Yoga Festival, where I’ll be guiding a hypnobreathwork journey exploring Santosha, the yogic practice of contentment.

Being enough.

Having enough.

Experiencing and enjoying the life you already have.

I can’t think of many places on planet Earth I would rather explore this practice than Sedona.

If you will be at the festival, come breathe with me on Sat evening ✨

🗓 October 1-4

I’ve been questioning myself lately.

Which is funny because some of the things I have wanted for a really long time are actually starting to happen.

Bigger opportunities. More visibility. Things that feel exciting AND scary.

And getting closer to what you want is also a really great time for you to start wondering:

Wait. Can I actually f*cking do this?

After sitting with the doubt for a couple days, the other morning I breathed to Becoming Bold focused on cultivating unshakable confidence, one of the HypnoBreathwork sessions I created for my Becoming program.

And apparently I needed my own medicine.

(and yes, this is me absolutely vibing to my playlist while facilitating the live session)

And somewhere in that session, I remembered.

I saw the stages. The filled rooms. The festivals. The full workshops. The offers I want to create and the places I want this work to go.

I remembered my f*cking magic.

Which doesn’t mean I’m never going to question myself again. Of COURSE I will.

I just don’t want self-doubt making my decisions for me.

Because how much smaller would I make my life if every time I thought, “Can I actually do this?” I took that as a sign that I shouldn’t?

Screw THAT.

I can doubt myself and still walk into the room.

I can be nervous and still say yes.

I can wonder if I’m ready and still go for it.

Self-doubt doesn’t get to decide how big my life gets to be.

This is exactly the kind of stuff we work with inside Becoming. Wanting more for your life without letting the self doubt that comes with it make the decisions.

Yesss, Becoming is getting her glow up 💅🏼

I keep hearing people talk about letting go lately.

Friends. Clients. Different circles, different circumstances, but some version of the same notion keeps coming up.

I need to let this go.

I know I’m holding on too tightly.

I’m trying to control the outcome of something I can’t control.

It feels like there’s something going on in the collective right now around letting go. Maybe it’s the approaching autumn equinox, or maybe we’re just realizing how tightly we have been holding on to something in a world that feels so out of control.

Which makes the timing of my upcoming workshop focused on Aparigraha feel pretty perfect.

Aparigraha is the yogic practice of non-grasping or non-attachment.

And “just let go” sounds lovely.

Actually letting go takes practice.

So that’s what we’re going to explore and practice together. Where are we gripping? What are we afraid might happen if we loosen that grip? And what happens when we give ourselves a little room to find out?

I would love to breathe with you soon. Register over at @laughingriveryoga. 🤍 by @exhalewithcarrie

Healing doesn’t have to be so serious.

But seriously, what a lovely weekend with some truly amazing humans.

Thank you @evolvlovesound for your guidance and wisdom. Kirk brings an incredible depth of music theory, spiritual wisdom, and somatic attunement to his trainings. And he will make DAMN sure you never play a dysregulating sound bath.

(Friends don’t let friends play dysregulating sound baths) 😵

He will also make 108% sure you know exactly how many cents your bowls are off. iykyk

Thank you for such a special weekend, and for encouraging us to fork around and find out. 😂

And thank you @mountainhollowmedicinals for sharing your beautiful land with us and nourishing us all weekend.

I feel ridiculously lucky that this is part of my F*ck Yes Life.

That these are the humans I get to learn from, practice with, play with, and call my community. @_crystalsorrell @kimclearyvt

Dear Woman Who Can't Relax on Vacation,

You finally made it.

The bags are unpacked.

You're sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee.

The water is calm.

So why can't you relax?

Instead of enjoying the view, you're checking Outlook.

You feel oddly restless.

Your brain starts making lists.

You wonder why everyone else seems to settle in so much faster than you.

Maybe you even catch yourself thinking,

"What is wrong with me?"

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing, because your nervous system doesn't slow down the moment your calendar does.

Stress isn't just something we think about. It's something our bodies get really good at.

After weeks, months, years of juggling work, family, schedules, and the endless mental load, your body has practiced staying alert.

It has learned to anticipate.

To prepare

To keep going

Then vacation arrives

Your mind says, "Finally."

Your body says, "Are you sure?"

You finally have nowhere to be, yet you keep reaching for your phone. You feel guilty for doing nothing. You can't seem to settle.

Sometimes slowing down is something we have to practice.

So if it takes a few days before you can finally exhale, if you need a walk by the water before you can sit still, if it takes a little while before your shoulders drop away from your ears

You're not doing vacation wrong.

Your nervous system is simply doing what it has practiced.

And just as it learned to stay on high alert, it can learn to settle, too.

Until one morning you wake up and realize you have been staring at the water for twenty minutes and you didn't even reach for your phone.

Your nervous system jsut needs time to catch up to the rest of you.

P.S. The v slow walking is a throwback to our last Costa Rica retreat, where we literally practiced slowing down with a walking meditation on the beach. If you've been dreaming of a winter escape that actually lets you exhale, we're heading back in February 2027. 🤍 Link in bio 🥥 by @exhalewithcarrie
