A few reasons to (take a) trip in Spain right now.

People keep asking what to do.

Basque Country has a long history in answering that question.

Don’t enjoy politics much, but it’s getting wild out there.

#trump #maga #ice #wwiii by @existential.hormesis

Time to vote. This isn’t about politics; it’s about survival.

Got a bit fiery with this one.

Cost of living, gas prices, crypto, corruption, WWIII, data centers, techofascism, swing state, Michigan, Texas, Maine, Ohio, Kansas, Alaska, Iowa

Let’s do like #lulapresidente

Part 3 of 3: Vote. And, work to build something better.

Enough of the doom and gloom already.

Time to get sh*t done.

Part 2 of 3: the blueprint for resistance begins to reveal itself.

Charting a path from cognitive sovereignty to collective resilience.

Part 1 of 3. The panopticon has officially been updated.
Time to learn how to fight back.

“Hence the major effect of the Panopticon: to induce in the inmate a state of conscious and permanent visibility that assures the automatic functioning of power. So to arrange things that the surveillance is permanent in its effects, even if it is discontinuous in its action; that the perfection of power should tend to render its actual exercise unnecessary; that this architectural apparatus should be a machine for creating and sustaining a power relation independent of the person who exercises it; in short, that the inmates should be caught up in a power situation of which they are themselves the bearers. To achieve this, it is at once too much and too little that the prisoner should be constantly observed by an inspector: too little, for what matters is that he knows himself to be observed; too much, because he has no need in fact of being so. In view of this, Bentham laid down the principle that power should be visible and unverifiable. Visible: the inmate will constantly have before his eyes the tall outline of the central tower from which he is spied upon. Unverifiable: the inmate must never know whether he is being looked at any one moment; but he must be sure that he may always be so.”

There are three kinds of violence.

The first, mother of all the others, is institutional violence: the violence that legalises and
perpetuates domination, oppression and exploitation, that crushes and grinds down millions of people in its silent, well-oiled machinery.

The second is revolutionary violence, born of the will to abolish the first.

The third is repressive violence, whose purpose is to stifle the second by making itself the servant and
accomplice of the first, the violence that gives rise
to all the others.

There is no worse hypocrisy than to call only the second ‘violence,’ while pretending to forget the first,
which gives birth to it, and the third, which kills it.

#lulapresidente #bastille #wwiii #genzprotest by @existential.hormesis

I’ve seen many accounts from the US saying these protests are orchestrated, by Soros or some shadow government, or unruly migrants…no idea if this is controlled opposition or uncontrolled conspiratorial fantasy, but the truth is much simpler, and requires a very different form of engagement.

We’re building a blueprint, from cognitive sovereignty to collective resilience.

2. Communal Living Systems
3. Cooperative Business Models
4. Reciprocal Land Management

Why are you defending this?

The structure of the frat, with its hazing and humiliation; the suppression of basic personal ethics in the drive toward acceptance or power or prestige; the cultivated sense of moral exceptionalism, and collective transgressions to guarantee silence…

That’s Epstein Island.

That’s corruption in politics, exploitation at work; that’s a crumbling economy, failing schools, unaffordable healthcare, outdated infrastructure, idiotic and brutal wars, mass surveillance, data centers, and funding foreign genocides before taking care of basic human needs at home.

So, again, why are you defending this?
