This time, that exploration takes the shape of a switchboard. Antenes ~ Antenes (@les_antenes) is a New York-based musician, instrument builder, and DJ who builds her own sequencers and synthesizers from repurposed vintage telecommunications equipment. Her work draws from outdated telephone and telegraph networks, and from her early exposure to the Buchla 100 and Serge modular systems. Her instruments and music have found a home in some of the most respected underground spaces and events in the world, such as The Bunker New York, De School Amsterdam, Tresor Berlin, and Corsica Studios London — spaces built on musical integrity and deep, unhurried immersion. A residency at Worm in Rotterdam gave her further space to grow this practice among a community of artists devoted to sound as both experiment and ritual. Antenes has released music on L.I.E.S. Records, Silent Season, and The Bunker New York (as Antemeridian), with work featured in The New York Times, The Creators Project, and alongside Brian Eno and Alex Ross on Steven Johnson’s Wonderland Podcast. We’re thrilled to have Antenes join us for the next edition of EXIT/ENTER. An unforgettable weekend awaits. Idiom ~ Idiom is the alter identity of Dane Weisbeck, a DJ, producer and live performer emerging from Buffalo, NY’s underground scene in late 2022. In nearly 3 years under this moniker, Idiom has performed and produced across the full spectral range of techno — from Hard/Industrial and Hardgroove to Raw/Hypnotic and Peak/Drive — both behind the decks and through live sets. With 5 EPs, 3 remixes and a collection of scattered originals, his work has earned premieres at some of the largest underground techno events globally, including Techno Wereld (Amsterdam) and HARD VISION (Italy). We invite you to come early and stay late, as Idiom will be closing the night building up tension, energy, and groove. Orocue ~ Daniel has dedicated his recent years to building and sustaining underground spaces. He spent a decade in Buenos Aires, where he collaborated with local collectives to create spaces intersecting art and club culture. Beyond the dance floor, his work in the city culminated in his debut EP on the Argentinian label Concepto Hipnotico. Since relocating to NY, Daniel has shared his sound at events for Sole Rehab, FLUID, and Buffalo Underground. His work has also been featured on Sandoz Community Radio (Japan), SENSE (Brooklyn), and Mild Fantasy (Brooklyn) via Veneno (Brazil). Peace Debt ~ Peace Debt has spent over a decade throwing underground parties and creating experimental multimedia performances in Buffalo, working through evolving collectives including Strange Allure and Groupwork. When faced with the inevitable aging-punk crossroads, he chose the “body-music” path, bypassing both “Dead Head” and “eclectic vinyl enthusiast guy.” As a DJ, he deals in subdued, challenging grooves with a healthy sense of humor. Elias Garcia ~ Producer, DJ, owner of Sceptre Records (US), born in the Bronx, NY. His music is a compelling fusion of raw, mental, deep hypnotic techno, with influences drawing from the realms of science fiction, minimalism and ambient. Masters such as Oscar Mulero, DVS1, Dave Clarke, Dimi Angelis and Ben Sims have massively supported his production discography (Semantica, Orbe, Edit Select and Voyager Recordings). He’s also featured on podcasts “Slam Radio” by Soma Records (UK), “Super Dommune” (Tokyo, Japan) and “MoonLET me be”.
