SATURDAY - 8/1 - 2PM - REGISTRATION REQUIRED EXIT/ENTER exists to bring people together — for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the exploration of futuristic soundscapes and alternative rhythms. This time, that exploration takes the shape of a switchboard. Join us for an afternoon with Antenes, who builds handmade synthesizers from obsolete telephone switchboards, rewired into live instruments. She’ll speak on her process, her background as a musician, and demo the machines herself. Event free to the public w/ RSVP only. Register at www.exit-enter.net Make sure you get your tickets for EXIT/ENTER later the same evening as well!

And after some delay...here's the highlight post from the interview and mix session with Orocué from 2.14. We discussed Daniel Prada's origins as a techno DJ, deeper conversations around the underground and his launching of Exit/Enter (@exit.enter.series), his techno-oriented series, which debuts tonight in Buffalo. We go deep into his vision, collaboration and process behind Exit/Enter and the lineup as well. As of this post, Exit/Enter has sold out, but I'll be checking into if there's any chance for tickets at the door. This is a great primer for what to expect tonight, so enjoy and I'll see you there. The mix session and interview are available to view on the IP YouTube channel (@streaminginprocess), with Orocué's session mix available at @streaminginprocess on both Mixcloud and Soundcloud.

I'm elated to welcome Buffalo's Orocué to the IP studio this Saturday at 2PM via Mixcloud Live for a mix session and an interview about the launch of his techno-focused series Exit/Enter (@exit.enter.series). This is something we discussed last year, before I launched In Process, so it is gratifying to see our visions come together. Follow the IP Mixcloud (link in bio) to receive a notification for when we go live. Exit/Enter will debut on 2.28, so I encourage you to follow their page for information on how to attend.
