It’s so easy to get caught up in trying to have it all… But for me, I’ve learned what truly matters and will leave the biggest impact is the legacy of my family.

As a mompreneur raising an outstanding young gentleman, every day is a balancing act of learning and finding my pace.

I remind myself often that prioritizing my family over everything else will NEVER be in vain. Because really what good are professional achievements if we miss the mark at home?

I'm so grateful to God for entrusting me with the highest calling—to build a strong foundation for my son alongside my husband. We are by no means perfect but strive for excellence, knowing we're shaping a future that glorifies Christ.

To all the amazing mamas out there, your long nights that turn into early mornings, the sacrifices you make, and the hard work you put in both inside and outside the home are seen and appreciated!

Keep going, never doubting your ability to conquer all that is asked of you! You are killin’ this mommy thing & don't let another soul tell you ANY different!

A very sweet Saturday with my boys.

We got to celebrate 30 years of Baby Einstein + the debut of their new Ocean Explorers collection at the Georgia Aquarium, then stayed to explore a little more on our own.

Such a fun afternoon of curiosity, discovery and family time. Watching Zaiden take it all in was definitely my favorite part.

Some seasons you shine out loud.
Some seasons you have your head down.

I’ve been in a head-down season for a while.

Mothering. Creating. Praying. Building.
Making some big-girl decisions.
Releasing some things. Reconsidering others.

Trying to be a good steward of what’s already in my hands while trusting God with what I can’t see yet.

I haven’t had much to announce. I’ve just been living it.

Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I’ve been learning to choose myself too, even without knowing exactly what comes next.

What if becoming a wife deserves just as much intention as planning your wedding?

The Bridal Prelude began with a desire to reimagine the wedding morning, but it became something deeper.

Permission.

To honor your becoming with the same care you’ve given your wedding.

Brought to life alongside an incredible all-woman collective and later published in Black Bride Magazine, this vision still reflects so much of what I believe.

It’s still surreal that an idea God placed on my heart became a full editorial I could hold in my hands, and that I had the honor of writing the love letter tucked inside, a message created for every bride and for those entrusted with serving them.

This week marks six years of The Honey B Experience. @thehoneybexperience

And when I pause to reflect,
the thing I’m most grateful for is THE PEOPLE.

When I started,
I knew I loved weddings and celebrations.
What I didn’t fully understand yet
was the weight of the trust people would place in me.

Over the years, I’ve been welcomed into rooms
full of love, family, legacy, and once-in-a-lifetime moments.
And I’ve had the privilege of helping shape the experiences that hold them.

That’s not something I take lightly.

I am incredibly grateful for my couples and their families, the founders and organizations, the collaborators, and the incredible vendor partners I’ve had the pleasure of building alongside.

And above all, I thank God for the grace, the guidance, and the purpose that continues to lead me forward.

Six years in, and we’re just getting started.

Can’t believe it’s been 6 years already. Happy Anniversary my love! I still feel the same way I felt on XIX·X·MMXIX. Time really does fly when you are having fun. She Lit the Way.

Some nights remind you why you started.
This was definitely one of them for me!

I created this intentional space to say thank you,
and somehow, it filled me right back up.

Every detail.
Every woman.
Every moment.

From the music and the candles,
to the hugs, the food, the mocktails, the laughter, the vibes —
it was all LOVE.

Thank you to every woman who said yes.
Who showed up.
Who lit the way.

This was for you.
And we ALL left brighter.
