Exploding lands in Rhayader on 26th September! For one night we’ll be bringing our showcase of short films and our kaleidoscope of clapped out projectors to the wonderful Lost Arc for a night of underground visual mayhem.

We are pleased to be escaping from the artistic desertification of Londinium and heading for the soft green hills where some wildlife is still thriving and welcoming of some cultural compost at the fabulous Lost Arc, a building whose long history includes once being Rhayader’s Castle Cinema, way back in the 1950s. We’re proud to be bringing the flickering lamps back after such a long absence.
More tickets allocated!

Western Promenade by IOLO EDWARDS showing at Exploding Cinema at The Lost Arc, Rhayader on Saturday 26th September. "It's a short Super 8 film that I worked on in around 2005/2006. It's all shot along the North Wales coast, especially in and around Rhyl. I edited the film by hand using editor, splicer etc. I thought I'd lost the film reel but I found it recently at my parents' house. It's never been projected/screened before." www.explodingcinema.org by @exploding_cinema

EIGHTY: Dreams of a Data Centre by BEN SLOTOVER at Exploding Cinema at The Lost Arc, Rhayader, Saturday 26th September. Spare a thought for what it’s like to be a Data Centre that has such power it has achieved consciousness, and yet is bombarded with silly requests from humans all day long. In the quiet downtime, like all intelligent entities, it dreams. However those humans and their witless nattering are inescapable. They invade the dream. @Zero Budget Film School www.explodingcinema.org by @exploding_cinema
