Hoppers also known as appams are made of fermented rice batter & coconut milk, with a similar taste to a pancake / crumpet mix 🙂‍↔️

You can have them as a savoury dish with a side of curry or egg OR my favourite way (the way shown in the vid ^) with some jaggery 🤭

Lunch in central London for £8.60?! unheard of till now & @dandan.restaurant are providing the goods

details:
•12-4pm only
•16 dishes to choose from (such as dan dan noodle, gong bao chicken, spare ribs & so much more !!)
•you can add a drink for £1.20 making your whole meal just £9.80 🤭🤭

thoughts:
this is an absolute hidden gem (not sure how hidden as there are queues quite regularly outside) but worth waiting especially due to how affordable their lunch menu is

usually places will only offer 3/4 items on a lunch deal but to have 16 & to include a variety of meat / veg options, it was nice to have so much choice !!

this is a place that has me coming back, time & time again ⏰

a saturday spent at @wearefairgame 🐥🎪🎟️🎢🎡

fairgame has been on my list of activities to try for absolute years now since the canary wharf branch opened and maybe because operating around canary wharf is what i compare closely to getting lost in a maze again n again, i just never found the time or occasion (or will) to go. 🧚🏾‍♀️

however, when i found out they opened a second and bigger branch in city, that was my sign to visit. £25 for 90 mins of play, a very aesthetic bar serving every cocktail you could possibly think or dream of as well as a choice of three food vendors serving pizza, kebab, burgers and more… you think you’re coming for 90 mins but realistically could spend hours in this place and not realise. 🕺🏻

what i loved:
• such good customer service
• plenty of games to play
•all the games scores was counted for on a card that you use to scan when to play (don’t need to be mentally working out anything yourself oop)
•such fun and different games, 12 to play and choose from
•a GORGEOUS venue, interior is 100/10

what could be better:
•more staff at the actual arcade area ‘policing’ queues because it can be chaotic at times

peach shaped gelato, now served at @snowflakegelato 🍑🍑🍑 (ad)

with no signs of the heatwave stopping, there’s only one thing that helps cool me down in this heat… GELATOOO 🍨(unfortunately not rich enough yet to have ac)

so when @snowflakegelato invited me down to their gelato masterclass to see the magic happen irl, I had to go 🪄 we were taken through the process of gelato making, the differences between gelato & icecream and tried out some of the other incredible items on the menu including matcha & milkshakes

their peach shaped gelato is the newest item to hit their menu and makes perfect to enjoy in the sun right now; white chocolate exterior with a refreshing peach flavoured creamy gelato.. aside from being aesthetically beautiful, it also tasted amazing 🕺🏻
