“Chocolate: The Listening Space” by Isaac Nolan Herron (@eye.zik / @chocolatethepodcast)
@queer_raum group exhibition — Queering History
from 16 – 31 October 2026 at FLORIDA Lothringer 13 (@florida_lo13)

Isaac Herron (they/them) is a Black non-binary queer multidisciplinary artist, musician, writer, podcaster, and fashion model based between Berlin and Cologne. Their practice spans sound, installation, music, and participatory storytelling, exploring the body as a site of memory, identity, and transformation. Through intimate listening, archival research, and personal narrative, Isaac creates spaces that examine Black queer experience, collective care, and belonging. Central to their practice is Chocolate: The Podcast, a platform exploring Blackness, queerness, politics, and identity through conversation as artistic practice.

Chocolate: The Listening Space is a four-part audio installation that weaves narration, archival voices, and sound to explore Black queer life, embodiment, desire, and remembrance. Together, the chapters transform listening into an act of witnessing, testimony, and a space for imagining liberatory futures.

very excited to share that I’ll be exhibiting Chocolate: The Listening Space in "Queering History", a group exhibition organized by @queer_raum 🩷

16–31 October 2026
📍 FLORIDA Lothringer 13, Munich
@florida_lo13

"Queering History" brings together queer artistic perspectives on history, memory, and the stories that have been remembered, forgotten, or left invisible - creating space to re-read and reimagine history through queer perspectives.

Really grateful to be part of this group of amazing artists and this crucially important conversation. 🏳️‍🌈

Oh Rotterdam, what an incredible weekend.🤎

In times like these, coming together feels more important than ever. Sharing our stories, holding space for one another, and leaning into community reminds us that healing doesn’t happen alone.

A huge thank you to @snackbarfrieda for welcoming me into your cozy space and for being part of such a necessary conversation about the systems that so often leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and unseen.

Until next time, Rotterdam. 🫂🤎 taken in Rotterdam, Netherlands by @eye.zik

🍫Hello Rotterdam! Chocolate: The Podcast is headed to the Netherlands! 🇳🇱

Inspired by everything happening in the world, our next conversation will explore the historical and ongoing impact of religious colonization on queer identities.

We’ll look at how colonial-era religious systems shaped laws, cultural norms, and attitudes toward gender and sexuality across many parts of the world. Through history and lived experiences, we’ll ask: How do these legacies continue to shape identity, belonging, and acceptance today?

If you’re in the Rotterdam area, join this important conversation. By acknowledging these histories and listening to lived experiences, we can strengthen allyship, challenge oppressive systems, and take meaningful steps toward a more inclusive future.

Thank you so much @sofra_queer_migrants for giving me the opportunity to participate in the Human Library. It was such a safe and meaningful space to share my thoughts and perspective on gender, and what life as a non-binary person means to me ♡

+ a huge congratulations to the newlyweds, Tania & Karl! What a beautiful celebration. My feet are definitely feeling the effects of all that dancing! ⁺₊✧

Programm *english in comments*

20:00 Uhr Isaac Nolan @eye.zik

Konzerterlebnis „Dear Universe“

21:10 Uhr Milky Gay @milkygaydrag

Drag Performance

21:20 Uhr Wholesome George @littlewholesome

Sweet cravings, Softness, Cake, queere Euphorie ohne Entschuldigung. In einer Gesellschaft, die Hunger und Scham normalisiert: devour and be devoured.
