Chocolate: The Podcast LIVE! by Isaac Nolan Herron (@eye.zik / @chocolatethepodcast) in conversation with Virginia Olivia Obiakor (@virginia.obi)
Saturday, 31 October 2026 from 11:00 – 1:00 pm

@queer_raum group exhibition — Queering History
from 16 – 31 October 2026 at FLORIDA Lothringer 13 (@florida_lo13)

Chocolate: The Podcast LIVE! brings the podcast into the room for an evening of conversation, culture, laughter and good vibes. For this edition, we’ll listen to Chocolate: The Listening Space, an audio installation by creator Isaac Nolan Herron, and explore its four chapters: imagining safer futures for Black queer children, awakening to structural racism and collective resistance, Black queer sexuality and bodily autonomy within nightlife and underground spaces, and the questions of legacy, memory and what we leave behind.

Following the listening experience, Isaac will be joined by Virginia Olivia Obiakor — actress, spoken word artist, visual artist and queer feminist activist, for a live conversation unpacking these themes through a Black queer lens.

Expect honest conversations, thought-provoking moments and lovely vibes.

@queer_raum group exhibition — Queering History
from 16 – 31 October 2026 at FLORIDA Lothringer 13 (@florida_lo13)

The artist initiative queer:raum presents “Queering History”, a group exhibition bringing together thirteen contemporary artistic positions working across photography, performance, installation, sculpture, film, and text-based practices.

“Queering History” approaches history not as a fixed or complete narrative, but as something that can continually be re-read, questioned, and expanded. The exhibition explores queer perspectives on historical events, biographies, lived experiences, and collective memory — asking which stories are remembered, which perspectives are missing, and what happens when histories that have been overlooked, marginalized, or deliberately erased are brought back into view.

Alongside the exhibition, a public programme of workshops, talks, and live performances creates opportunities for exchange, collective reflection, and new ways of engaging with queer histories in the present.

Through the interplay of visual and performance-based art, Queering History connects past and present and understands queer history as a living, resilient, and continuously evolving part of our collective memory.

Swipe through the slides for the full programme and event dates.

🍫Hello Rotterdam! Chocolate: The Podcast is headed to the Netherlands! 🇳🇱

Inspired by everything happening in the world, our next conversation will explore the historical and ongoing impact of religious colonization on queer identities.

We’ll look at how colonial-era religious systems shaped laws, cultural norms, and attitudes toward gender and sexuality across many parts of the world. Through history and lived experiences, we’ll ask: How do these legacies continue to shape identity, belonging, and acceptance today?

If you’re in the Rotterdam area, join this important conversation. By acknowledging these histories and listening to lived experiences, we can strengthen allyship, challenge oppressive systems, and take meaningful steps toward a more inclusive future.

Konzerterlebnis „Dear Universe“

21:10 Uhr Milky Gay @milkygaydrag

Drag Performance

21:20 Uhr Wholesome George @littlewholesome

Sweet cravings, Softness, Cake, queere Euphorie ohne Entschuldigung. In einer Gesellschaft, die Hunger und Scham normalisiert: devour and be devoured. Supported von Nova Jester Tragedy @messyspacebun.
